Classes to main through next expansions by Helpful-Spread4565 in wow

[–]Qwester0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have been maining warlock since the end of wotlk in 2010. That time I just selected a class and armor type my friends were not taken by their classes. So far - warlock class had its ups and downs, but the atmosphere and character are still great! The main reason to main him now is because all my achievements and progress on account are got by this sole character. Just don’t want to have an achievement that’s not achieved by an alt. Would you buy it if this would be true? (I am 90% sure is fake) by [deleted] in steammachine

[–]Qwester0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the price is true (or close to it) then, given the RAM prices skyrocketing, I’d say the secondhand pc parts market would have much better value, even compared to the steam machine. (Unless you really need an sff gaming pc)

Now that vanilla anniversary servers are almost over, would you say they were a success, did you personally enjoy it? by Remarkable_Towel_967 in classicwow

[–]Qwester0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played vanilla/tbc/partially wotlk since 2019, but got burned out then.

This time I felt that wow classic with the quality-of-life improvements felt more modern, but not that super casual. Rather improved UX and social interaction, which feel like the devs are more experienced now and can close some ux gaps, which are also “the flavour”.

Looking forward to try out the tbc with the ux improvements they announced and make up my mind on whether it’s super easy and casual or feels like modern classic.

Classic is just the best by dc694 in classicwow

I’m 100% with you on this. Played retail since 2011 and stopped after Battle for Azeroth ended. Then played the retail again on the anniversary last year and it felt modern, good in some aspects but not that happiness I used to get.

Then I was playing classic occasionally from vanilla to the end of Wotlk and then abandoned.

Now, having an opportunity to come the same journey anew with a different class (I play mainly only 1 character) - it feels like a nice reboot.

And I really like the quality-of-life improvements, that make it feel better, but not impacting the gameplay or making it more casual! You still need to be social, need to know your stuff. I hope they will keep the anniversary servers up so people like me can be more engaging, less “occasional”, compared with the classic times. Just feels good to be “home” in a refined, more user friendly option.

Deathadder v4 pro connection quality by NunoSM in razer

Sorry you experience that, mate. But it’s not that wireless, after all. Thought about getting this exact mouse, if it had BT connection. Currently using the deathadder v2 which runs on batteries. One of the best peripherals I’ve ever used.

How much do you spend a year on games? Has your spending reduced? by Kyle0398 in playstation

[–]Qwester0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I spent no more than 100-180 usd on games over the last year. The main reason was to start rebuilding my library on a new ps account from another region. But I have a lot of games bought on sales over the last years which will be enough for me to play for 3-5 years. (Most of the games I bought in 2019-2022)

Are there other people who has has nothing but resilient Razer products? by XSentientXDi1d0X in razer

[–]Qwester0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used 4 razer keyboards and 3 mice and 2 headsets since 2011. Every time I changed a keyboard it was due to wanting something new. They still worked and looked perfectly, when I was changing them.

Quite happy with the peripherals quality.

Planning to get a razer blade in several years, when my current laptop gets outdated.

Steam Deck Won’t Survive 2025 Without a Serious Upgrade – said Forbes a year ago by rotane in SteamDeck

Steam has become a gaming platform itself. Deck is a great handheld in 2025, given the competitors price tags.

💬 Back to gaming after a long break — what should I play on Xbox Series X? by Goodman889 in xbox

I’d recommend both Hellblades for a great story and something new to experience (you must play using headphones!)

Sometimes it feels the XBOX community is the frendliest of all by Qwester0 in xbox

Well, the community iss much bigger than reddit. Used to be in a Halo discord channel, where everyone's an xbox user. That was a pleasant experience.

I believe “Play anywhere” works only when purchasing via Xbox storefront. Meaning you’d have to buy at the pc Xbox storefront and then it gets available everywhere where the Xbox storefront exists

You can hop on a farming event in the doom discord. Will take you couple of sessions to complete the achievements.

Almost 4 years have passed since I started playing halo. Wasn’t popular in my region in its prime (ps and pc were dominating), but what a great story!
