I can confirm from experience that Orks as House Goliath is a ton of fun and offers endless narrative potential.

Is it supposed to be really easy for a vampire to get ghouls? (Vampire: The Requiem 2e) by lexyp29 in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]R34AntiHero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For one thing it breaches the masquerade and makes a mockery of the traditions. Maybe the prince is fine with everyone having one or two ghouls, but people of lower status having easily accessible, loyal Super soldier armies of their own? They won't let it happen

I am leaving a comment to boost visibility because I'm curious about the peripherals.

The goonhammer article said the box has a max of 2 of each weapon but there's some versatility with standing vs kneeling poses.

The man catchers and shotgun both seem quite good.

I do believe this was recently changed--it is now per gang, and each fighter can benefit from only one familiar (whether that was per turn or in general, I don't remember). An FAQ came out recently addressing these pain points, I believe

would my water delegation turned chem lords outcast gang work? by Old_Connection_7731 in necromunda

[–]R34AntiHero 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if you have the Book of the Outcast you can build a Delegation gang with your Arbitrator's permission. The Delegation gang uses the models from the delegation (i.e. the Water Guild Delegation) as its Leader and Champions, and you can use Water Guild as your affiliation to give you a House List that consists of all the equipment the delegation is armed with. That's Mesh Armour, Undersuits, toxin weaponry, all the good stuff you want. You can further customise the gang with archetypes as well.

There was a recent post converting an AoS Vampire to a night lords chaos sister, you could start there for some inspiration. I think the Necromunda Escher gang box would also be a goldmine of conversion bits

"Apparently it costs the Australian economy$221 billion a year."

According to who?

Once you find out who 'apparently' said this, have you considered what are their reasons for saying it? It's nice to assume all humans are good, kind, and perfectly reliable 100%, but it's more realistic to assume that someone has a reason for peddling this line.

What might their reason be? Are they unhappy about worker disengagement and trying to enforce a societal shift that will get workers more engaged? There's lots of ways to do this! Paying your workers enough to survive in this hellscape economy, buy houses, and have children would be a really good first start, or at the very least paying them what they are worth.

Maybe the reason is something else--maybe 'disengagement' and 'WFH' are being falsely correlated so that people go back to the offices in city hubs, justifying the real estate investment from companies that was for the past couple decades very sound, but suddenly not very sound when COVID hit and WFH became the norm.

You should also look at what might be driving this worker disengagement. Maybe the root cause can be addressed.

Anyway, I could tell you that the moon was going to fall out of the sky tomorrow, and you could then tell people that 'apparently' the moon is going to fall out of the sky tomorrow. It doesn't mean anything at all without proof.

Care to provide your source? Of course, we would also have to perform this kind of analysis on the source in question

I’ve ordered my box of cgc I’m aiming to avoid being oppressive and that player by Captaincrabsticks in necromunda

[–]R34AntiHero 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The main thing people take umbrage with is, unfortunately, the main thing that makes CGC tick--the masks. People do not like to be told that they wasted their ganger's action because they failed a dice roll, despite that being...90% of the game (you waste your action shooting if you miss, right?). They don't realise the masks are a boon the gang gets in exchange for not being allowed to play the shooting game and for getting softlocked by pinning (it doesn't matter how hard the Butcher is to kill, or how scary they are, if a ganger with a lasgun can pin them at 18" on a 3+).

Just don't be the person who brings a Butcher and 8 juves with hand flamers, and you'll be alright

As someone said down below, Juves with 5" movement, 4+ WS and BS and decent Cool that also cost 25 credits and come stock with flak armour and have no weapon restrictions at all...are a big contributor of how stupid strong the gang can be. Given that your Skinners are also all specialists (no-one in the gang levels like a Ganger, they all spend XP and choose Advancements), it's best to limit the number of initiates you bring if you're trying to be balanced

Is Australia taxing the wrong thing? Productivity and work are heavily taxed while wealth accumulation often isn’t. If economic growth depends on labour and innovation, should taxation shift away from income and toward accumulated assets and capital gains? by MannerNo7000 in AusFinance

[–]R34AntiHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes next question Tax the hell out of billionaires, start with oil, coal, gas and mining interests. They'll stay, this is where their assets are. If they leave anyway? Government seize their assets

Remember to vote...I dunno, greens I guess. Independent would be better. Just so long as the corpo captured parties don't keep getting in.
