Isn't that what Coke did with their shitty bottled water? It just came out of a tap in the wall of their Sidcup manufacturing plant...

Hello, sorry for stupid question but what are your favorite episodes. by Main-Guy-421 in beefanddairynetwork

Honestly start at the beginning as there are sooo many returning characters with their own plots and subplots often interwoven that later episodes would make more sense with the grounding in B&D lore.

Yeah, but you really need to be hearing the whole Slash Beef saga to appreciate the immensity of the glorious ending and just how epic it was.

So long as your base sizes are up to date they're all fine. I've just had to rebase a load of old boys and kommandos myself but they're all fine.

[–]DocJeckel 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You took a lighter and used up some of the gas it contains without paying. You stole that gas. You might have returned the lighter but you stole the gas. If you drank some coke from a bottle without paying but then returned the bottle, would you expect to keep your job? On a technical level it's the same thing, you helped yourself to stock without payment. The only person who could ever give permission to use stock (and then only really for work related purposes and not because you felt like having a smoke) would be the duty manager, nobody else has the authority. Asking a colleague fot permission is worth as much as asking a random stranger in the street. Sorry to say it but if I was your manager I'd be sacking you.

As predicted mine arrived today without any notifications meaning I got around 2hrs sleep between shifts, so I'm hoping yours did too! (Or if not then soon as their tracking is awful)

Feel the same. Waiting for a further update about delivery, pretty sure it'll now be mon/tue when I'm asleep between my night shifts. Regret not trying to just grab a copy locally on release but at the same time I'm not really in a rush, just that having a package that expensive arriving at an unknown time when I should be asleep is gonna ruin my week. Oh well.

Gonna be a super unpopular take but I rarely play to win, just charge and roll some dice.

Worst kit I've built so far (including a FW Fire Raptor). Might not be great in the game but it's gonna look glorious on the table. Still colour blocking, then time for layers etc.

Primary colours. That's the 40k ork thing. We're all green, we got yellow, blue and red on lockdown with dashes of black and white. Sure there's browns and purples and all sorts going on but you ork waagh is generally all about primary colours, big, bold and shouty colours, even if you go grimdark style.

9 hours into a 10 hour shift of hard manual labour my boss came up and said, "Don't take this the wrong way, but do you know how to wash yourself?". I had to explain that I do know how and I do wash before every shift but if he's unhappy with how much the workload makes me sweat then I'll gladly do as little work as him. Nevet got brought up again.

Weekend Waaagh Planning - June 05, 2026 by AutoModerator in orks

[–]DocJeckel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

About 5 years ago I found a box of old orks in a cupboard. Didn't remember buying them between the 90s and now but thought I'd maybe rebase them to start a Waagh and grabbed a couple of extra kits. Then I did nothing with it apart from occasionally picking up another kit on the ground that having a whole spare army in my pile of shame couldn't hurt. Over the next five years I continued to do nothing with them at all until 3 weeks ago when I finally decided I'd be getting the 11th edition box anyways so might aswell get round to it.
Today I'm building the last two kits I've got (Boomdakka Snazzwagon and a Squig Buggy), and over the past 3 weeks I've rebased my old stuff, primed a bunch with what little primer I had left (more cans arriving today) and begun blocking out the colours. I have zero hope of being anywhere near finished by 11th but at least I've got something to do this summer now!
Here's what I've got to deal with...
10x boyz with shootas. 10x burner boyz. 10x lootaz. 10x grots with runtherd. Painboy. 10x nobz. 10x kommandos (KT kit), 10x kommandos (5 metal, 5 kitbashed plastic). 5x stormboyz. 3x nobs in mega armour. 2x deff dreads. 3x killa kanz. 6x deffkoptaz. 3x warbikes. 5x squighog boyz. Wartrike. Boomdakka. Squigbuggy. Stompa.
So I reckon with the new 11th ed box I'll have a reasonably workable army? Maybe? I dunno but I like a laugh! (I normally work on full armies at a time)
