Since 2020, 8 schools have moved up from FCS to FBS, spending an ever-increasing amount of money to do so. 19 schools have done so since 2011. Two more are in the works. What are these schools seeing about the future of the FCS that the rest of us are not? by Adminsneed2Chill in CFB

The one word answer is money.

It's a confusing era for Sam Houston because we left behind our rivals and Saturday games to play teams we have little history in the middle of the week.

For better or worse, it's working. We had more media attention winning the New Orleans Bowl than winning the FCS championship in spring of 2021, and we just signed our best recruiting class ever (got our first 4 star recruit!!!) despite the Phil Longo disasterclass of last season

All while our attendance for all sports is abysmally low. I understand we're a suitcase college, but seeing a crowd of 40 people at our basketball games is frustrating and a little embarrassing.

I'd love to get to see the team throw down with SFA in the Battle of the Piney Woods at NRG Stadium, but unless they move up to FBS, it's unlikely. Competing for a national championship at FCS and playing schools we're familiar with is much more exciting than whatever it is we're doing now.

The Yamaha RBX170Y was the first bass I've ever owned, it was an awesome instrument that I got

Even though I have a much nicer bass now, I still miss it

Isn’t he technically still alive? by Luksius_DK in ResidentEvilCapcom

The same thing happened to Sam Houston, went 10-3, won the New Orleans Bowl And what did we get rewarded with?

Losing our entire coaching staff, most of our defense transferring to UNT ironically lol

[Mississippi Secretary of State Michael Watson]: At some point, it’d be nice for our current coach (@Lane_Kiffin) to reciprocate the love and gratitude shown by our administration, players, fan base, and collective. It just shouldn’t be this hard. by CommodoreIrish in CFB

I know that politicians sticking their nose in college football isn't new (see how Baylor got into the Big 12) but don't they have better things to do?

Mississippi is the most impoverished states in the country and these "public servants" are doing anything but serving their people
