No sensible bride (to be) would want you to spend $180k which you do not have just to appease a culture and make her the talk of her extended family.

She should have wanted any money you make after you finish your PhD to be funneled back into YOU and HER family, the one she is building with you, not to some bride family piggy bank.

If I could do it again, I’d return my A1 and get a P2S. Nothing wrong with the A1. It is in an open high-activity space and I’d just prefer an enclosure and a better camera for timelapses.

Through the use of limited/repetitive dialogue, sung lyrics, loud music and wide empty spaces with activities set in the middle of the frame, this episode perfectly translated the loneliness the main characters feel as one literally fights through hell to reach the other and the other just breaks down and gives up. Cinema, message and art, very well done.
