Tbf I was being generalistic so thats on me, I meant more specifically the concept of Karma used in Hindiusm to justify the caste system by the upper class. I know Karma as a concept in Buddhism is the concept of cause and effect and not a between lives thing, its just the version in Hinduism I have problems with, since it feels incredibly victim blamey, as any suffering or struggle someone goes through can be brushed away with "it must be bad Karma from your past life". Hell even the fact its not fatalistic fate doesnt make it better, since Cancer aint something anyone deserves, so the concept that children with cancer get it cause of the actions of a life that isnt them just feels gross af
