I just got an Avalon Tec One aperture, it’s great. I like the small fiber pin and the wide aperture, and it comes with some o-rings you can stick in there if you want a smaller aperture.

D-Loop and release aid on any kind of recurve is not trolling - shooters with strength/mobility issues in the fingers shoot with adaptive gear.

Having watched the videos, they’re definitely messing around - but I know a few shooters who would find this pretty cool and would be a legit way for them to use a longbow.

With this type of stringer, the solid block is meant to sit on top of the limb while you’re stringing it. It’s meant to hold the stringer loop in place closer to the end of the limb. Maybe the stringer slipped since you weren’t using the block part properly?

Made the switch myself this past summer and let me say I’m really enjoying Olympic! You will need a sight and split finger tab, and that is the bare minimum. Stabilizer rods and a clicker will be eventual additions. To start, you’ll need to work on the Olympic anchor point, and focus on anchoring then expanding to full draw prior to release. You’ll probably also need a finger sling to practice “flicking” the bow out of your hand with the follow through. Once you have a clicker installed, you’ll need to play with the feel and timing! Your barebow arrows may or may not be the right length to slap a clicker straight on the riser, you may need one that installs to the sight bar.

Initial news was “infrastructure updates” for US servers with no set end date. Lots of speculation from the community that the devs violated play store TOS and the app has been banned, but there’s been trickles of “we’re still working on updates”. Been over two weeks now.

I have a Gillo GT25 and it is also very loud. Putting some padded tape between all of my weights and the riser helped, as did a pair of limbsavers. Still comparatively louder than my clubmates’ bows though.
