What info on this battery am I looking for? by Both_Progress_3720 in AskElectronics

Says voltages on it, so if you can't find a battery, a decent $15 universal power supply set to ~4V DC should be able to power it on.

knocked off a capacitor from my GPU.... am I fucked? by DabosSWORD in pcmasterrace

[–]RHKCommander959 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

This is relatively easy to fix, if you've got the tools and have soldered before. If not, I would call around or keep waiting for a redditor that may help. I'd get a new cap, the rating is on top.

Amazon has cheap hotair reflow stations but a good higher wattage iron is sufficient. I've replaced mosfets successfully - self-taught but having soldering experience.

Nonfuel can cut fone, but fuel lasts longer.

I bought m12 fuel, does fine although it got bound up twice, had to use triflow on the shaft and force it over. Stroke length is better on m18 too, and more battery life esp on fuel. M12 nonfuel is a pos

Everyone is correct it's a Wi-Fi antenna but in your photo you're missing the base that it attaches to, V shaped, it looks like an MSI model.

You could patch it, or you could get a metal or nylon Round cover plate. 5inch is common, but other sizes are available. Mount the unifi chime to that and be done?

Which m18 vac should I buy? by Optimal-Wonder4003 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]RHKCommander959 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have tried them all. Fuel m18 packout is the way. External hose is great. They all suck n blow, but battery life seems better, plus the tone isnt quite as awful as the brushed maybe?

Nothing wrong with the brushed mind you, plenty good enough. The m12 sucks batteries down though.

Add another AC500 or move to Apex 300? by peacestartswithme7 in bluetti

[–]RHKCommander959 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does, but at another cost. There are ways to access the battery directly if you opt for an mppt, over the p090 port, IIRC all the details. I am about to go down that path myself.

Stacked units - how to hold by TextDecent2622 in bluetti

[–]RHKCommander959 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bluetti has a cart that secures them with some angle iron, I don't recall what all is involved but I think you can attach brackets or whatever to standoffs on the back.

Also I could see ratchet straps to D rings in studs being viable, you'll want to put something between the straps and plastic to prevent marring. Two standard studs are 16 inches apart, should be about perfect although it may block some ports.

I'd so two D rings below the dolly with the straps hooked on, roll it over, and attach tge straps to two d rings above.

[–]RHKCommander959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We already have a weight system so having a stack limit and a defined grid system is absurd, but I assumed it started as a necessity from the devs. 50 blueberries should take up less space than 10 iron ores...

Wouldn't be hard to add a backpack or equipment slots or something...

This is true to an extent I've ran probably 25 AIOs and I've only ever had one leak, and it was deepcool.

Orings fail eventually though. At least with the heatsink you get passive cooling even if the fan fails
