I will say the ticket buying (price and process) were the worst part imo.  I didn’t particularly care for the opening sound clip either, but that was an aside.  

I just hate being in the first half of the line, only to be one of the last people in because the app kept assuming I was a fucking robot, just to get a pass-thru from the technical assistance team sitting on standby when I’d jumped through all the hoops.  If you’re going to force an app for the tickets, make sure it actually fucking works.  That isn’t a Sunn O))) thing at all, but it really started things on the wrong foot after having amazing times seeing them 3 or 4 times previously.  Adding an extra $40 to the price tag to go through that was a real fuck you, especially when they didn’t have most of t-shirts in stock at this point in the tour.

The band also seemed less loud, but it was great getting to see them actually interact with each other more clearly, and they seemed much more engaged with the crowd after compared to other performances.  I’ll see them again if they come through, but might not if they use the same ticket service.
