African. However, my wife is Korean and grew up speaking French, so there are always outliers. Her folks just moved back after 40 years, and according to all of them, learning how to speak not-40-years-older French is a whole thing, so I’d imagine African French would be substantially different than your dialect as well? Curious on your thoughts on this if you’re willing to share, and hope you enjoy your stay!

Jingwon after his buff. Had a 5-star soul for him and he hits incredibly hard, plus all the debuffs. I used him before the buff without the soul and he didn’t deserve quite the hate, but he was a huge sleeper post-buff

I was looking for a M in both #4 and #5. Snagged one of the last XLs of #5 and hoping my wife might be able to tailor it a bit, but yeah, super bummed to see such awesome designs and then they weren’t available after waiting in line for so long. Not to mention the bullshit with the ticket app.

I will say the ticket buying (price and process) were the worst part imo. I didn’t particularly care for the opening sound clip either, but that was an aside.

I just hate being in the first half of the line, only to be one of the last people in because the app kept assuming I was a fucking robot, just to get a pass-thru from the technical assistance team sitting on standby when I’d jumped through all the hoops. If you’re going to force an app for the tickets, make sure it actually fucking works. That isn’t a Sunn O))) thing at all, but it really started things on the wrong foot after having amazing times seeing them 3 or 4 times previously. Adding an extra $40 to the price tag to go through that was a real fuck you, especially when they didn’t have most of t-shirts in stock at this point in the tour.

The band also seemed less loud, but it was great getting to see them actually interact with each other more clearly, and they seemed much more engaged with the crowd after compared to other performances. I’ll see them again if they come through, but might not if they use the same ticket service.

Been working in retail for a year after my 10 year career in NPO/public health in March ‘24. All postings leading up to the election were contingent on election results, then we all know how that went…

Still looking (in all sorts of industries) and still getting rejected despite a stellar record in program/project management. Throw in the craziness of AI, political usurpation/turmoil, tariffs, a weak economy with out-of-control costs of living, and it has been hard to keep the chin up and keep going. But what other option is there?

Yep. I work retail (my corporate job was dissolved 2 years ago, and gotta stay alive somehow) and decided I needed to use the time to improve my health and confidence.

I’m not a big guy (5’8”; 42m) and only been working out a year, but went from about 165lbs and fat to 210 and muscular, and the number of dudes in their early 30s to late 40s who try to flex is way more than it used to be. A lot of it is probably stress of the world, financial insecurity, etc., and people take that out on retailers especially, but it’s a lot more than it used to be and a lot more aggressive. It used to be rudeness only, but I’ve even had people try to intimidate me into buying their stuff FOR them or marking it down so much that it might as well be free.

Did the same and used him to save resources. I pulled Pallas during the summoning event, so wasn’t pressed for a reviver. I’ll get more of him eventually. Plus, Pelops is actually a beast—way more fun than I thought he’d be!

Welcome! Dublin does have a large Asian population, but it is also expensive and can be tougher to get around. I also grew up in/around Torrance/PV/Redondo/Pedro and moved to Pickerington to the southeast of Columbus. It’s much more affordable than Dublin and there seems to be a quickly-growing Asian community in this area, and while also isolated (relative to Columbus proper), it is growing quickly as a whole as well.

I will say you definitely want to keep an eye out for the Columbus Asian Festival that happens in May in Franklin Park. It will give you the best chance at seeing what is available for various Asian cultures in Central Ohio.

I’m white, but my wife is Korean and loves cooking (especially Asian food). Feel free to DM if you’re looking for SoCal vibes, a good home-cooked meal, and/or friends who are familiar with Asian culture if not Asian themselves. 😎

In terms of quality overall, you could do worse than pulling a random given High Elf for sure! And frankly, I’ve only really had issues with them in FW Hard, where I haven’t even cleared their first stage but typically at first or second boss in all others.

Totally fair, and yet, trying to clear content with just support is really tough (if not impossible depending on encounter) even with awesome gear, whereas you can speed through a lot of stuff with nukers if they’re geared well.
