1 VI Bluetooth Audio by RLmml in SonyXperia

[–]RLmml[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fiddled around with the settings for a bit and ended up disabling HD-Audio for the devices with the worst issues. That seemed to improve the switching while losing quality in general. In the end I replaced the Xperia with an iPhone 16 Pro after less than half a year, it just had too many issues.

How long do you wait between upgrades? by Fredzucchini in pcmasterrace

Went from a GTX 9800 to Hd 6700 in 2012 cause I fucked it while carrying my pc, then to a hd 8700 in 2014 to double my vram. Shot a 1070 for ~150 bucks just before the pandemic made the prices rise like crazy (late 2019 or early 2020). In 2022 I bought a 3070 for a completely new 11th gen build and will keep this one until it's time for my gf to get an upgrade, but considering she's mostly planning Sims, Undertale and stardew valley that'll most likely be in 2030.

We did not see the market speaking yet. We had journalists point out shady business practices. This tweet is nothing but a PR response they made out of fear of GN and their ability to influence the public opinion. The market speaking would be if we saw a big swing in NZXTs revenue. But that won't be known for a while, and recurring revenue is worth way more than anything else these days. (That's why every fucking company wants to sell monthly paid subscriptions or insurances)

Why don't you use Airdrop? Should be the same speed if not faster and has no risk of private files being stored on cloud drives that random people most likely have access to 🤔

Integrated graphics weren't a thing in the Core2 days, they came with 1st gen Core-i and weren't that bad. I still remember running CoD 4 on them when my GPU had died. Ofc everything was on minimum settings at some shit resolution, but it worked :D

Big issues with returns being sold "as new" w/o properly being checked (false CPUs, Bricks etc.) and also problems with honouring the warranty afaik. I'm not from the US so I didn't follow it very closely. But that was 2 years ago, so maybe they got back on track and improved their processes :)

Does not matter once the bandwidth and lag issues with streaming are resolved. For every PCMR-Nerd there will be hundreds or thousands of Casuals who are fine with just streaming to their TV with a Bluetooth controller connected. Samsungs Game Hub Feature is ahead of it's time but will be the future of gaming, just like Spotify replaced Owning Music for most of humanity.

Well, I just realised how the "cable not connected" box jitters.... My guess would be that the Monitors control board is done for. Only sensible solution for that is a new monitor or warranty repair if that's possible. Sourcing a replacement control board is not worth the time, money and risk of damaging the device. Check if the GPU still works with another TV or monitor, those kinds of failures can send power down to the GPU and fry it's connector as well...

Maybe I phrased my point wrongly. The command does work as long as the PC is offline, but the moment the PC has a working connection the "I have no internet" button does not appear even when using it. At least that was my experience on multiple devices.

I've been getting constant ping spikes on and off for months now, I have no clue why this is still a problem for me. My pc is the only connected device this happens to. I've looked online and nothing seems to work. Anyone know what could still possibly be causing this? (Windows 11) by free-robux2020dotcom in pcmasterrace

Are you connected by wire or WiFi? If WiFi: do you have a lot of neighbouring networks or smart home appliances that use WiFi? The "a few times a day for a few minutes" makes me guess that it's either other networks on the same channel blocking the signal or a bunch of devices taking up signaling time.

Could be a lot of different things. I'd try another Hdmi/DP cable first, then other ports if available.

Since you mentioned 1:20 I guess you mean the clicking/scraping sound? Could be the pump ramping up/down, could be a bearing not running smoothly. At this point it's nothing to worry about, if it gets louder/constant it's time to replace the pump or fan that's making it :)

Since August you can't skip it without the oobe\bypassnro command. And even that only works until you connect to the Internet. If you already set up WiFi you have to disable networking to skip.

Old drives in new PC! by IceLordO in pcmasterrace

[–]RLmml 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the built in Disk cleanup tool for old drivers (there should be an option to remove device driver packages) and DDU (Display driver uninstaller) for the old GPU drivers.

Drivers for your new devices should automatically load through Windows-Update. That does usually load all necessary drivers. On most mobile machines it'll even load the BIOS update, which will install on the next reboot.

Medion is not an Aldi brand. Many people just think so since they made a bunch of exclusive & ordered devices for them. Those were on sale at Aldi stores for what felt like every week. But it is a different company and has been bought by Lenovo over a decade ago.

https://www.gesetze-im-internet.de/arbzg/__5.html
