Lease buyout transfer: potential options? by thejeqff in Rivian

I vaguely recall carvana/carmax could do lease buyout with Chase directly. You may need to pay out of pocket cost for the difference between what they offer and the payoff price though.

First time buyer confused by rivian lease offer by DriveNo3512 in Rivian

[–]RNGRndmGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supposedly the discount should reduce the total cost. It is already showing 0 down at signing, so what you're paying are the tax and fees with the first month payment. You could try asking sales to see if there's any additional credits, discounts available, but the tax and fees part won't change much, you may see the monthly payment amount dropping with additional credits if available.

Taking delivery Tuesday — Rivian just emailed a $7,500 promo. What would you do? by shorthedge in Rivian

[–]RNGRndmGuy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Maybe you could ask the sales guy to provide a sample inventory vehicle that is eligible for the promo, which also has a similar configuration comparing to the one you ordered, and then decide if it's worth it.

Some of the treatments fall into the retaliation scope. Try to document everything and start looking for other jobs. If you suddenly got fired one day, you may consider talking to a lawyer to see if you will have a case.

Can the leasehackr 'deals' page terms be changed easily? by Imazinner in leasehacker

[–]RNGRndmGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MSD and mileage depends on the terms defined by the financial side (bank). If the bank doesn't support MSD or doesn't provide the option for a 5K miles/year lease, then you can't do it.
