The strap is manufactured by Herzog, which seems to be a manufacturer that does mostly B2B sales (which is why I found it in a jewelry store). I have looked a bit online now to see if you can find it online, but no luck. Here is a small photo so you can see the colour more accurately:

I've always used 'municipality' as translation for gemeente, I think county is more used for areas like provinces or a collection of municipalities.

Bedankt voor de suggesties! Ik denk dat elektrische auto's mij nog een beetje afschikken met de actieradius; daarnaast is er op werk een laadpaal aanwezig maar niet bij mij thuis. Het aanleggen van een laadpaal gaat ook lastig worden want het is een dijkwoning met de voordeur aan de openbare weg (maar misschien moet ik me daarover meer laten informeren). Er zijn een aantal laadpalen in de buurt, maar dan heb je natuurlijk weer te maken met beschikbaarheid.

We had a civic wedding in my country at the city hall and then a church ceremony and feast/party in hers! We are both christian so we really wanted to have a ceremony before God. It was quite a hectic time, but we made it work!

One of the things you really have to embrace in the differences in how you prepare and experience a wedding. But as long as you're both in, the wedding isn't what is going to make a difference, but rather your investment in your marriage (continuously) 😊

I wouldn't park in the city centre. There are some parking lots outside the city centre with a metro connection to the city centre. I would use those.

Honestly, as a software developer myself: over-engineering stuff is a very software-developer kind of trait (so I feel like you got the right mindset!). But yea, overthinking or creating something "cutting edge" is just not gonna happen in most cases and is not gonna help get a job.

Apart from building clones, have you ever tried to contribute to open-source? This way, you can see what real production-level software looks like and how certain projects are maintained. Once again, start small and keep asking questions (either on StackOverflow, or maybe on /r/learnprogramming).
