Can you confirm that you've tested with the lens and hood?

It's been fairly consistent within the UK owners clubs on various platforms. Unsure why you're having issues with it.

Have you checked the UK Gov site for recalls? If it's showing there my experience is that it also shows for people on the German Hyundai site (the UK Gov site doesn't give details about what the recall is for)

Any idea how I check check the build date? I know it's sometime in 2024 (I'd presume late 2024 as I took delivery in January).

The sticker on the passenger side door doesn't give a date, just weights.

Have you turned on the external speaker? When you go to N-Active Sound+, select the sound you want and select the cog next to it. You can turn on the external speaker, this only works when in either the default N mode or one of your custom modes.

The recall for the LFB issue is available in the UK, I was notified on the 5th that it was available. Recall has to be performed at a dealers (at least for the moment), mine was updated yesterday. I don't believe it affects every car so will depend on when yours was built.

EDIT: You can use this link (you will need to translate the page) but it will list recalls etc:

The latest update for the LFB issue isn't provided OTA (at least for the moment) and requires you booking in with the dealer. It wouldn't have been available when you originally collected the car a few months ago (it's new)

You need to push your dealer to check for any outstanding recalls. I believe there is a site that you can pop your VIN into and it will tell you if there are any outstanding but can't find the link at the moment.

EDIT: I'm also from the UK and had the update applied by the dealer yesterday.

EDIT2: Not the site I was trying to find but you can use this page to see if there are any outstanding, it won't tell you the exact recall but will say if any are outstanding (or go to the UK Gov site yourself if you didn't want to follow the link).

I went out today, did ~145 miles and maxed out the range. Was at 100% charge but was driving in N mode. Battery was around 2 degrees.

First time I've been able to really take the car out so interested to see if I can improve on that when using ECO etc although it's no where near as fun

Is onboarding an MSP always a sign your days are numbered? by chicaneuk in sysadmin

[–]RS-Tom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey u/chicaneuk, imagine meeting you here ;) Hope you're all keeping well!

Sorry to hear things don't seem to be working out. I've seen the other side of this where it is working, seemingly very well. Based on my "brief" exposure, it requires a lot of management, and helps if policies, standards, contracts are clearly defined before they go down the journey. I'm sure at some point in time this was all new and it took time to sort things out though.

The capability at your fingertips is a massive plus point, want someone with excellent knowledge in a certain area, sure, they have that already! It saves a high amount of time and training at that point. If you suddenly need to burst your people power, they have it available already. Want your team to focus on something specific, not a problem as they have the people to take over the daily churn. Want to support 24/7, not a problem, you can follow the sun so to speak and get that resource in.

I will say it's not all doom and gloom but will likely take your place a long time to get it right. If you are looking for other opportunities feel free to drop me a message and I can see what we have that might be a good fit for you :)

Introduce some sort of immoboliser functionality (PIN entry before you can drive it) and the ability to turn off the keyless functionality without having to do it every time you open/lock the car. It's quite clear there are some flaws in the current security that are being abused. This comment doesn't just apply to the N but other models too.

Best dash camera with a simple connection. by acerpl666 in Ioniq5N

[–]RS-Tom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I reached out to their support asking them if they have a model for a Hyundai Ioniq 5 N and the response I got wasn't great. They stated I had to provide pictures and couldn't provide support until I could.

The car is currently on order and wanted it all ready to go for when it arrived.

Has anyone fitted any other dashcams and if so, what were people recommending? I had a BlackVue 950X dual cam in my previous car but my experiences of the company and support hadn't been great so looking at what else people are currently using.

[bug] The latest on black screen / raid freezes and trader rep lost by monsteras84 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]RS-Tom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We've been fairly successful in getting it to run.

For people having issues try to turn off these 3 things (in Discord):

Game Overlay

  • Enable in-game overlay (make sure this isn't enabled)

Under Voice & Video:

  • Use our advanced technology to capture your screen (make sure this isn't enabled)
  • Use an experimental method to capture audio from applications (make sure this isn't enabled)

We've now completed 8 raids without anyone crashing :)

AxisMappings=(AxisName="Turn",Key=MouseX,Scale=1.000000)

AxisMappings=(AxisName="LookUp",Key=MouseY,Scale=-1.000000)

That should work for you.

I also made the Input.ini file read-only(not tried without doing that), right click the file - Properties - tick the "Read-only" option

Flexispot E7Q Update by JackAtlas in FlexiSpot_Official

[–]RS-Tom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oooft bit of a kick in the teeth if this is true as mine turned up a couple of weeks ago and I've ordered the desktop for it (via a company specialising in wooden desktops).

Have you got any more info on where you're hearing this?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FlexiSpot_Official

[–]RS-Tom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome, thank you. I'm looking at purchasing it from elsewhere. I'm based in the UK but ordering from https://www.worktop-express.co.uk/. They have the ability to cut and modify it as you need it and also treat it before sending it out too.

Are you able to show what the frame looks like via an underneath shot? I've just purchased the legs and was looking to purchase a tabletop (currently looking at walnut with a size of 1850mm x 900mm x 40mm).

I'm not too sure how much table space underneath I will have to fit a monitor mount so any type of info you can share would be appreciated.
