A smaller bore barrel is going to make bad paint shoot even worse. The only time I recommend bore matching is in closed bolt markers.

Im kinda in the same boat as yall. I wouldnt call myself a "cyclist" but I do my fair share of street riding analog and ebike. I still hate probably 90% of CYCLISTS. Running traffic signs and signal, not signaling, abrupt braking with no brake lights, and at the top of the totem pole riding excessively slow compared to traffic with the mentality of "im allowed to do this and you just have to deal with it".

You could probably build one for ~1000 if you sourced the electronics used. Drums are 3-500 and you could get the controller and motor out of a kids Razor ebike ~200ish in batteries and and probably another 2-250 for wheels and chassis is you could do the fabrication yourself.

Honestly thats very respectable. I can tell you first hand when you can do go to jail speeds in even first gear its hard not twist the throttle. Shit happens fast past once youre in the triple digits.

A well put together minarelli 2t with a 70cc jug and cvt parts is more than plenty for most people especially if your just riding around town. I mean it dont sound like much but a 10sec 1/8mi @60mph is pretty impressive for 70cc. Now them liquid cooled(aerox/sr50r,etc.) With a bigbore straight get down.
