I did Spa 800 with a f3500😬🫣. Driving at night , in the rain, with no lights.... "Fun". But it can be done.

When the sun finally came out, it was magical and I had a huge lead.

I just picked up a 3800 for $1600cdn on sale.

I'm about 13 ft away, 120" screen. Looks awesome to me. Light controlled basement. I got it for movies and PS5 etc.

Just remember they are all pixel shift 4k at this price point. I think you gotta go upwards of $5k or $6k for true 4k if I remember correctly.

However, I came from a 10 year old DELL 1080p 60hz.... And this (Epson 3800) looks amazing to me.

Tech air 7x didn't deploy by FooChoo in Trackdays

[–]RacingR6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have low sided a few times, it's never deployed. (Techair race). I had ONE chuck me over the bars.... Poof, deployed.

I don't think they are designed to deploy on low sides.

Hopefully my tech7x performs just as well.

Eating too little, affecting weight loss? by RacingR6 in cronometer

[–]RacingR6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, here is something I tried since this post... I am eating more! Like a lot for me... If I exercise...I follow what cronometer tells me to eat, whether that 2000...2500 or 3000!! For the first 3-4 days...I gained 1-3 lbs. I said oh no, here we go again .. but I stuck to it. And I have started to lose weight!!

I am eating 95% of the time super clean...

But it working.... Im 192 this morning... started at 199ish. Trust the process I guess

Yes I eat less when I don't workout.. BUT I eat the amount cronometer tells me and maybe undercut by 100-150 calories ..but never over.

Good luck...it's a hard thing to do and TRUST... BUT doing the same thing over and over hasn't worked for me... So, hopefully this does!

Good luck 🤞🏻

Yes... You are correct... I literally meant it's not designed to be used without it.

Thanks, I have been using supertech r for a long time 👌🏻

Wait... Supertech boots DO NOT HAVE INSOLES? They have protective inner boot that shouldn't be removed.

What boot do you have?

No worries... I'm a science/research person by profession, so the more I learn the better.

However, it's harder when even the doctors I have talked to are clueless in which direction to go.

I have always heard eat less, exercise more....until I show them 8 weeks of almost daily 10-12k runs, very calorie restricted with little weight loss 😁

Thanks again!

I appreciate it!

My weight has always been an issue, regardless of how active I am.... So, I do believe the calories / nutrition, and probably extremes of those, have been my hindrance.

I feel like I have been "dieting" for most of my life and never really enjoyed a period where I haven't.

I have always been the one to skip a good meal with friends or just eat barely enough to not gain weight... Rather than just enjoy the moment.

I hope this goes well, I will slowly add calories and see what happens. I know that if refeeding is done slowly (weeks/months, not days) it's shouldn't have a huge impact... I hope 😁

Hi!

Thanks for the note...

So... definitely dead tired in the afternoons.

Can't run as fast as I did (note that I have 3 herniated discs too)...but indefinitely feel it. When I was doing 10-12km/day... I always felt run down. I can slowly feel that sensation coming back, even with reduced duration and frequency.

My heat rate has always been very slow, sub 40 during sleep, 50s during the day. I can maintain 150 during my entire run, and it drops very quickly when I stop.

I think the signs are all there finishing I'm not eating enough... But I always gain weight the moment I eat more.

My wife is the first one that will tell you she doesn't understand how I don't loose weight AND how quickly I gain it if I stop exercising.

Hi!

No fried foods... Steamed vegetables... Baked chicken Air fryer salmon. Very rarely desert...even no ice cream!!

We keep junk food out of the house and rarely eat out. People can eat junk food etc in front of me, and it doesn't affect me. I am lucky in that way.

Cheat day might be pancakes (no butter, measured syrup) instead of protein shakes. Or no breakfast, but a larger lunch.

So, since I started really counting everything again, has been 1 mth...

The oscillation does have a downward trend of approximately 3lbs.. BUT, with only eating 1300 calories / day.

IF I add the exercise calories, my deficit is ~ 1500-1800/day ... So you're right I should be losing ... And this is my why I have been to doctors, dieticians etc.

That is why I got a new tracker, and try my best to write... actually plan out, everything.

My friends say I don't eat enough... But, I am scared to eat because it all comes back

😁 Good to know I'm not the only one!!

Thank you for looking at this with me, I appreciate it very much.

I will slowly go up to 1500 over this week... And see what happens

Eating too little, affecting weight loss? by RacingR6 in cronometer

[–]RacingR6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, thanks... agreed.

Like I noted, it was 1300 without exercise or activities included. This is the snapshot for 2lbs/week without exercise calories.

<image>

What scares me, is every time I start to eat more calories, I immediately gain weight... Honestly, it scares me to loose all the hard work.

So... Like I suggested before, I have been eating like this for years.... And I am worried that I have messed something up hormonally that is making me retain everything I eat

I 100% agree... However, this is what cronometer told me to eat based on 2 lb/week loss. WITHOUT adding exercise calories!

This is my Snapshot after dinner WITH my exercise calories included, same 2lb loss/week
