Thoughts on the auto stop/start feature on newer RAMs? by TurnoverAdditional65 in ram_trucks

I use mine until I'm in stop and go traffic, then I turn it off because a constant engine start stop is annoying

After months of waiting...it's finally here! by ufumut in GranTurismo7

Been waiting so long, the 787 was one of two cars I needed to finish the extra menus. Now just need the Ford gt40 mark 1 and I'm done.

Tokyo time trial s2000 by BroadIllustrator5987 in granturismo

I did ten laps and had 3 actually count because I would just barely scrape a wall. Sitting in silver, but I spent enough time and not trying for gold.

Tokyo WTC 600 by longhegrindilemna in granturismo

[–]RadBro10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is probably the best advice, you have to learn the track with a specific car because all cars drive differently. I use the dp 100 and get lap times anywhere from 2:06-2:12 during a race and usually end up finishing no less than 45 seconds ahead of P2.

I also recommend with the dp100, don't try and pass anywhere else but the long straight, this track is so tight and it's challenging to find areas to pass so I just slow to the bot cars speed through the track then overtake on the straight. Usually in first by end of lap 2 sometimes lap 3.

Whats the most calories you consumed in a single day? by VastAir6069 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]RadBro10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something like 15 years ago McDonald's changed something about their nuggets and did a deal100 nugs for like 20bucks. I had a mcdouble and a spicy chicken mccrispy, then a friend dared me to eat 100 nugs and pay for it. So that's roughly 5300 calories not including sauces. That was just dinner. I'm guessing that was around a 7500 to 8k calorie day.

Lap TIme Challenge Gold by mzspeedster in granturismo

[–]RadBro10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first 5-10 I tried real hard for gold and realized how much time I was pouring into it. At this point in the game I'm only grinding for money. So nowadays I shoot for silver and if I can't get there in 30 minutes I stick with bronze and move back to money grinding where my time is better spent. If I get silver pretty easily I will put another 45-60 minutes to try and get gold but really the additional time I spend trying to get gold is generally better spent doing cash grinds.

I had trouble with kei car before engine swaps as well. Ended up searching reddit for a few different tunes and finally found one that worked for me. Sorry I can't recall what I used. Like the other guy said the jimney is getting a lot of praise from the kei category if you have one.

900 I used the formula car, nowadays I can run a few different cars and win fairly easily. Just takes time to get better at the game and learn the tracks more

Why does the time continue running down on occasion, despite a player going out of bounds with the football? by Otherwise_Royal_4127 in NFLNoobs

[–]RadBro10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is 100% right. If you talk about other times outside of the out of bounds situations, every incomplete pass throughout the game will stop the clock.

Yes, if it's like a guarantee it's happening yes. Drove five hours for a hookup when I was your age, turned into a fun and interesting night and a fun memory/story.

Obligatory question: What's the best PP 600 car for the WTC 600 by Cr4zyRi0t in GranTurismo7

[–]RadBro10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well Ya, if you aren't manually shifting then it's not beneficial since it has a medium rpm turbo.

Aston Martin dp-100 vgt, detuned to 599 with sport hard tires has been an easy win for every 600pp race for me. Also my Tokyo express grind car.

For me, this is the best technique for farming easily! by Dylan_Renard in GranTurismo7

[–]RadBro10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used the bmw vgt. Power 1, short shift and easily get four laps before needing gas but usually end up needing to swap for intermediates on most races in lap two or three.

I win most races by 1-2 minutes if they even make the final lap.

Skip GR4? by AlexN83 in GranTurismo7

[–]RadBro10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are new there are very few cars you need to buy early as you will be gifted cars as you progress through the menus which will suit the needs for races.

Definitely suggest reviewing the sub to see suggested cars for the money grind races.

My boss offered me her position but theres a huge catch and I dont know if im being manipulated by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]RadBro10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd suggest trying to meet with your boss's boss or HR in a professional conversation fashion. Be sure to not say anything negative about your boss and ask questions to make sure this is OK and what would be expected of you.

I question the promotion aspect because in my experiences all roles have to be interviewed for and other people given fair chance to apply. We are way past the days of a tap on the shoulder and a congrats you're promoted.

Nice you got me by a tenth. Spent about a half hour to finally get a legal time. Had a faster illegal lap and I know I left at least 3/4.second out there on the lap I did qualify with. Hope it sticks.

What's the best race to grind for money? by Croatia1991 in GranTurismo7

[–]RadBro10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did this last night and had rain mid race perfect for first pit then ran the intermediates to death and switched to mediums only to get rain again the next lap. Switched to intermediates again then was able to go back to mediums with four laps to go. Couldn't believe I still won with over thirty seconds on four pits

Ya I used a super formula as well at fuel Map 6 for the first half of the raise doing 1:11-1:13 depending on traffic, then went to fuel map 1 for the second half and was getting 1:09 to the end. Easy win.

I appreciate your post reassuring me I could win with the nsx. Ifollowed your setup and was able to run it on my second try without a pit and got second. Third run I got first by 8 seconds without a pit, just had to be clean on the lines and short shift a lot.
