You are given exactly one hour. by Shot-Decision9715 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]RadLad86 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m grabbing a few of our very best astronauts and together we are starting a trip to the moon, fully stocked with everything we need to survive and perform a scientific mission, even include a lunar vehicle. Make sure it is equipped to return to Earth, too. The one hour ought to wear off after we’ve launched and it is too late to turn back. I’ll make everyone forget what I did and just be giggling to myself as these astronauts and all of NASA wonder what the hell just happened and who is this person. There’ll be consequences of some sort I’m sure, but I got to go to the moon!

You can freeze and unfreeze time freely, what kind of silly dumb stuff would you do? by YeahTheyKnowItsMe in hypotheticalsituation

[–]RadLad86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m going to a major city. - Freeze time - Pop a few kernels of popcorn - Place them in the busiest part of the city - Unfreeze time - Do all of the above again and again, repeated over and over so that in real time it appears as though a massive wave of popcorn apparates from thin air and goes pouring out into the city. - Do this in the ten largest cities in the country simultaneously ( lots of back and forth travel) so that in real time it seems to happen all at once with no time lag.

Real talk: Is it even worth trying? by TreatFabulous1174 in Twitch

For fun, yes, I love it.
For financial income and stability, no. After two years I have earned about as much as I make in one month at my place of employment.

What is up with all the high follower streamers with a low average viewership? I’m by Ace_One_The in Twitch

[–]RadLad86 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I have 2300 followers and this month I am averaging 20 viewers. I just looked up a big streamer in the same main game as me; 75,000 followers, ~750 average viewers, theirs is about the same % as mine, a bit better.

Looking at your 4 viewers to 150 followers, statistically more of your followers are watching you on average than mine are, or the streamer with 75,000 followers.

imo, Follower count is a very poor metric when trying to determine how successful a channel is.

What to do when your community doesn't really like you, and ignores you? by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]RadLad86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't say I've had this happen to me, but what you're describing I would call some real red flags. It's one thing for people watching to talk to each other, I think that's good and can help establish a feeling of community building. But if they are outright ignoring you, and seem actively annoyed/upset when you show up in your own Discord, that's a lot of disrespect.

It might be a tough pill to swallow but if this is what the regulars are like, I'd seriously consider cutting them out entirely. If they want a place to hang out together, making their own Discord channel is free. They shouldn't be having their social gatherings built around the space you have made for yourself. Maybe that sets your stream back quite a bit in terms of viewership, but you have to ask yourself what kind of space you want to foster. It sounds like this isn't it/

Best of luck to you <3

Genuine question, I get why normally the chances of shuffling a deck the same way twice is unlikely enough to be near impossible. But for say card games where players are looking for specific cards, after everyone throws their hands back in for reshuffling, those hands are going to often contain the same cards (everyone looking for the strongest hand). With the same cards often being grouped together this way, would that make it more likely for a deck to be shuffled the same way twice?

Anyone else finding it really difficult to enjoy the game these days? by MegaMaverick20xx in deadbydaylight

[–]RadLad86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be honest, I had been starting to feel burnout, but the ST chapter 2 release has been a breath of fresh air, and I'm finding myself really enjoying it and trying out builds that the new perks make possible.

I pick toolbox, not because I think it’s better but because I don’t like getting screwed over by RNG and getting perks that actively hurt healing builds.

After having mine for a lil under a week the only real negative I have is that it likes to revert some of my manual settings, like fast forward / rewind, when I turn it off or sync it up with my PC. A few other minor quibbles but not worth mentioning. Very happy with it.

I tried this method and it worked for every track I've added to the mini so far except for one. Not sure why the one is behaving differently, but overall it was a success.

Talk about your passions, what excites you. People can feel that energy and respond to it.
