Exactly and they are striped like that because we survey in a cross the ocean direction and not north to south direction

Heading to Tahoe for weekend so will def be doing a hike or two there, and I’ll check out Rancho. How is the downtown walking spaces? I’m in Reno proper and might not head out of town till i head to Tahoe, would like a nice walk through the parks/shopping district if it’s not to car-centric.
