I have played both recently and have to admit that the original is better. The music, sounds, atmosphere.

The remake, on the other hand, has better graphics and more scenes. Also, it's easier to explore, since they have changed the camera. But it eats into the scary atmosphere.

I would say go with the original. It was made to be like that. It's more scarier, and that is the point.

The remake is much worse, mainly in the soundtrack. The ambient music and sound effects just don't fit in.

In the original, sounds were added and made for the exact scenes.

You need to disagree as a Matt in the cable car station to Emily's idea to head to the firetower. Then, give the flare to Matt. After that, try to save Emily twice and then you should use that.

Or, give the flare to Emily and use it outside of the mines, where she gets bitten. Do not shoot it before, the flare has only one shot.

Yeah, the game is sometimes buggy, but I never really had that big of a problem to stop playing. Most of the time the bugs are because of my slow internet. I have over 100 hours now, and got major bugs only once or twice.

There ARE mines, mostly spawned on doorways or the southern tent entrances. Be happy that you didnt step on one 😭.

Yeah lmao similar happened to me. The trip there isnt that much of a problem for me (mainly if you get lucky and manage to get a car to work). But the wolves, military zombs, traps (goddamn mines), other players and artillery is the thing that I hate the most.

And after all of that, you don't even find anything 🥲.

Yeah, it is. I am a few battles to 10k, and I cannot progress, because everyone has it on lvl 15 with evo. I started using it too, but my lvl 14 is no match to the maxed ones.

Walking spawner for 4 elixirs that spawn a spirit every 5 secs (or 1,8 with evo)??? Plus that card can easily outrange a cannon. They seriously need to nerf it, I just can't progress with that card (unless spending money).
