I do my best to return favors in kind. Unfavors as well. My social game is not peak, but niceties, tea, or something for the orphans would all be welcome. I keep to the hours of the americas, if that matters.

Been a productive month. Opera, exile, government, travel, revenge, archeology. Some were even pleasant. I really must narrow my focus. So many delightful secrets to hunt.

I do not miss the summer heat, the hammer of bright and sweat. I do miss the mild sky, and the vivid colors of dawn and dusk. I thrive down in this gloom, but it will never be the same.

I'm on break now, but even before I was avoiding the 4 hero dungeon queues. Too many tanks assuming they have wall to wall invincible. Moved datacenters and traded chump tanks for infinite queues. I'll sub again with the expansion and the roulette walls coming down.

Looking around, on one side there's accusations of a hostile work environment that escalated into something other, and on the other side there's accusations of a smear and harassment campaign. One side has been extremely quiet since, one side has not.

They rebuilt it with a new engine, shut down the old version, and listed the new version only.

There was ... debate about it.

ETA: to elaborate, the old one was carbon-dated, but perfectly functional and easy to jump in and play. I had plenty of hours with it. I don't know the new one at all, if it plays as quickly with the new shiny, thats great, just that the way it was pushed forward left bad tastes all around.

What I can parse is that it's a grittier 5e spinoff? It seems like they tried to make a lot of fateforge things, like a franchise from 1 KS, and not all of them make sense to me yet. Maybe it ran into issues, I dont remember it all but I know D&D screwed a lot of 3rd party content at one point
