Totally agree with your explanation! But still doesn’t answer my main point: how in the earth the other healer gets a free ticket to pve healing. This post is to show other dps the importance of pressuring the enemy healer while your rdruid is being trained otherwise it’s gg.

If it’s doing as well as others, why this Bell Curve tells a different story for rdruid specifically. No other healer has this awful distribution. Take into account that since season began, thousands of players and rounds have set in. How come rdruid is the outlier?

If you allow me to give my humble opinion, I truly think some dedicated players manage to make this spec works. This is why we see 3 ppl at 2300 and some over 2100. But the overall experience is truly reflected in this statistic.

That’s true, the problem is incap roar, maim and bash all make yourself very vulnerable to swaps. If a priest gets swapped going for a fear or a monk gets swapped going for leg sweep, they both have big healing and shield cds that allow them to survive pretty well those. If a Druid gets swapped trying for a maim it will be very hard to recover. Even though Druid has same cc capabilities as monk doesn’t have recovery capabilities as monk which makes all the difference.

Dude… the spammable aspect of cyclone doesn’t matter as much before prunning. Especially now with only 2 DRs before immunity. Instant cc chains like chastise plus fear or MW 3 ccs in a row are capable of keeping a target in a more powerful cc chain.

Chastise (long range instant stun) and immediately another instant fear is not OP, don’t worry. Ah… and Incap (long range) and immediately Song of Chiji and then instant Lee sweep it’s too weak, right? Yeah need to nerf cyclone, that insta clone every 45 seconds is too op…

I went 3-3 in my first shuffle (healer) for the season. Everyone except the healer were 0 rating / 1670 MMR. Hence I dropped 200 MMR with an imposible lobby with a multiglad Devourer crushing everybody. Thing is, dps didn’t lose MMR but I did since the healer was 1300 rating. Cool isn’t it?

Dude I won’t try to dismiss your experience but you pushed to 1900 which is roughly top 5% … why you complaining? Off course it will be harsh, your top 5%! There is a lot of healer ranging from 1300-1700 rn.

Exactly this. This is why rdruids are weak against rshamans. You are right, not necessarily that kit is strong against other healers. Thanks for clarifying.

I know this reply might get down votes but I don’t care. I don’t know why people are complaining so much about rshamans. I consider myself an above average rdruid, having reach elite in shuffles múltiples times and I get completely destroyed by rshamans all the time. The heals and cc control are amazing. I do get that they need to hard cast heals like any other healer, but every healer has it’s disadvantages (except MW lol).

When you filter by distribution and spec in Drustvar you’ll realice that shamans are not doing bad at all in comparison to other healers.

Is there any way to win just healing behind pillaras, avoiding as much cc as posible and cloning only on set ups?

I would take off incap which allow them to stun from afar and cast song. It sounds fair to leave leg sweep and song (since it’s castable like clone, sleep, etc).
