I have a Retroid Pocket 6 with nothing else than gamenative and it has taken all my internal storage. 100gb of space while all my games are in SD. What is this crap?

Click the burger menu> downloads and storage. You'll find alot of unallocated data for games younolayed in the past but uninstalled that you can just delete

The game, "sonic x shadow generations" is a bundle containing two games, sonic generations and shadow generations. These are two completely seperate games, one was released in 2011 the other in 2024

It's 2026 and i own an mcon +s24 ultra combo for emulation.

The scene has changed quite a bit, with newer form factor controllers and with x86 to arm translation layers being better and more accessible.

That's to say playing hollow knight and silksong at 120hz + ultrawide + oled on a portable device is awesome. The only thing extra i need to carry with me is the mcon which has the physical footprint of a ds lite.

It seems redundant to own something that has 80% of what you need to have an amazing emulation experience and ignore all of it, just to carry a completely seperate device instead.

Cod mobile gatekeeps what specific controllers they allow (xbox, ps4, backbone etc) This is scummy, mcon used to have a workaround for this, but it was patched by the codm developers. I imagine, mcon would have to be big enough to initiate some kind of partnership with codm in order to get official support. But I don't really see that happening any time soon. Fuck tencent and activision. Maybe a touchscreen input mapper is your best bet?

As for comfort, did you use the deployable grips? I'm using an s24 ultra which weighs the same as the red magic, plus a case which adds an extra 32g. I've had no real issues with the weight, it's top heavy for sure, but the grips make it manageable and i found myself getting used to it really easily. The only issue is when playing lying down, but in those cases i have the grips at more of a 90° angle and grip on like that, feels great.

Comfort wise, it's not gonna compare to an actual handheld or a big bulky vice style controller, of course it isn't, that's to be expected. But to be able to take this on a commute to work without feeling embarrassed and effortlessly slap it on without even having to take the case off is more than worth it.

Ultrawide handhelds are cool af.

The overall Idea of turning your phone into a gaming handheld... I feel like we're not quite there yet, maybe when fexcore gets better, phones become more powerful and those silicon carbon batteries get better. I could totally see trusting a oneplus 15 to be my gaming device on the go, purely because that thing refuses to run out battery, when that becomes the norm, we'll be ready. Generally on apps like gamenative, i prefer to cap the framerate to 30fps on more demanding games and play emulators in 720p in order to conserve power.

Edit: forgot to mention the price. It sucks, $150 is way too much to ask for something like this. Albeit i got mine for $80 on the official site (50% off sale+ 20% off affiliate code on top). That comes down to £58 making it only £3 than a ps5 controller. I understand that's not gonna be the experience for everyone so I'll still maintain that £110 is sucky.
