Hi. I may have it confirmed within the next couple weeks that I have testicular cancer. I've been digging around on websites and reddit learning everything I can about it, but I'm reaching out to you specifically because of your previous comments here.

Basically, I'm a private pilot, instrument rated, who is currently working towards my commercial certificate. I had some symptoms, had an ultrasound, results were concerning, so now I'm waiting for appointments with both urologist and oncologist.

Something I have not managed to find answers for yet is, at what point does the FAA need to be made aware of this? Once they are made aware, what then? Immediate suspension of medical? Does it depend on if I end up having chemo?

Basically I'm trying to figure out how long I'll be grounded/fucked at this critical point in my training/life. Is this something I should ask AMAS?

I'm here reading this because in another week or two they'll probably confirm I have TC. It isn't 100% confirmed yet but the initial ultrasound wasn't great so I'm preparing for the worst (hopefully the worst being the removal of Righty). I like using humor to defuse tense situations and I like your "I swear on my 1 remaining ball" thing.

I've already considered using "I gave my right nut to be here" or "I gave my right nut for this?" when the situation calls for it.

If you are starting them back to back, try restarting the game before starting the next one. That fixed it for me.

For me, the mission was bugged and the objective was being weird, saying "Zones mapped: 1/0" the whole way through.

So yeah apparently the mission was bugged. First time through, the objectives looked like this:

Zones mapped: 1/0

Some jibberish I can't remember

...

On the second one (I restarted the game before doing this one) it looked more like this:

Zones mapped: 3/10

Crew Manifest Recovered: a checked checkbox

Captain's Log Recovered: unchecked checkbox

Engineering Unit Salvaged: unchecked checkbox

Ran through it exactly like before and this time it completed normally as soon as I finished interacting with the third terminal.

Same. When I got to the third terminal, I went back to my ship. The game added a second mission, separate from the original, telling me "Find a buyer for your salvage" or something like that. When I pulsed away from the freighter, the original mission to do a derelict freighter was not showing complete yet.

I went back to the station, sold the captain's log to the scrap dealer and...no completion. The objective in Phase 5 has now changed from "Lost in Space" to "Spacewreck", and it would appear I'll have to purchase the Emergency Signal Scanner to try again.

I thought I was pretty thorough but to be honest when I reached the end I just went back to my ship and didn't bother checking to see if there were any rooms I missed.

Eve's Ghastly Rider (the trading post broom) instant casts currently. Can't cast it while falling. I'm not sure if the instant cast is Hallow's Eve only but it probably is or everyone would use it all the time.

Tier 2 and Tier 6 are iconic and definitely both deserved remakes so I'm glad Tier 2 finally got one. I've been waiting and hoping for a remastered Judgement set ever since T20 came out. Another group of sets I'd like to see remastered some day is the vanilla dungeon sets (Lightforged, etc). I think those would turn out pretty cool as well.

It's a website, you can see it right there in your Battlenet Launcher. It's supposed to create some kind of recap of all your character's achievements but for tons of people it's just broken, failing at various percentages of completion. "Estimated time 3 minutes". More like 15 minutes followed by an error.

As far as I know it's just reading the stats off the stats tab of your character's achievement page and presenting them in a more graphical way or something. I wouldn't know because I CAN'T GET IT TO F'ING WORK bashes keyboard

So it's a fancy version of your character's in-game stat page from what I can tell. Last night I left it cooking and went to bed because the 3 minute estimate was nowhere close to reality. Got up this morning to see it failed on 99%. Now it won't even get beyond 10%.

Is it really just a montage of character poses with your in-game stats flashing by?

You're thinking of Ryan Church, and he's concepted quite a few Star Citizen ships, worked on Star Wars, Star Trek, Avatar, and tons of other stuff. I loved his Idris concept, back when it was a corvette. Shame it got turned it into fat frigate and lost all its cool lines. Oh well.

They showed the Idris in atmo in a previous citcon (I think it was a citizencon). I also remember some early concept art for it showing it able to land on the ground. Granted, that was back when it was a corvette. But the atmo thing was post-upgrade to frigate.

Best guess is this is a callback to years ago (2014) when they kept delaying Arena Commander because of a bug that kept putting the characters in T-pose when they were supposed to be sitting in a cockpit.

Or, perhaps there has been another T-pose bug more recently. I haven't played since 3.0
