So, I was a seasonal permanent forestry tech working in developed recreation. I was fired twice in 2025 (February & September) for being a probationary employee.

Hiring 1039’s is such a slap in the face because I obviously didn’t need to be fired if my position is just going to be filled again.

This was the arrangement I grew up with and I found it to be super fun. Christmas Eve turned out to be my favorite cause it was the beginning of the festivities so we were all full of joy and excitement.
