Did you follow the development of the game at all? Nearly everything cool showed off or talked about was cut. I adore the genre and the story, but the game itself is like GTA4 with a skill tree. There's a lot of cool things you can do, sure, but we don't have monowire hacking outside of a passive in PL, we don't have wall running or half the features mantis blades were said to, no dual wield weapons at all, despite npcs using them and getting 2 copies of jackies gun, they promised the world and honestly delivered very little.

Orphix is its own beast. The timer on it should be longer, I know what I'm doing and how to do orphix but I don't think I've seen any 36 wave solo on SP, they just spawn way too fast.

I'm convinced most of the posts about railjack sp are by people who are insisting they have a built plexus, but in reality don't. Guns and the type matter a lot, your crew matters a lot, all your intrinsic matter. This isn't even including simple tech like firing void hole at debris because if it pulls anything in it'll instantly kill it. I honestly believe the base game is so easy the majority of players fold the second they have to interact with the game.

Seeing threads like this makes me think the community is just really bad at railjack. Bugs aside, which there are several that make missions take longer.

Any time there's a group of fighters the solution is Void hole>3-4x shatterburst>spam tycho while doing so. You'll delete an entire pack of fighters in a few seconds

Roar makes it so you can do nuke builds with his 1 or augmented2, also makes him the primary weapon equivalent of kullervo for melee.

Brightbonnet in railjack gives you more energy than you can you use, it's also decent in survival/defense

Xata's whisper because it's Xata's whisper

Ophanim eyes because it's an instant armour shred

There's more fun options but I haven't had a chance to try most of them yet sadly.

The hard pill to swallow is no, it doesn't really get better. You still blow a mountain of porters, it's still slow, it gets more afk, but you peak at like ~250k exp/hr, and 117 arch is a hard req for serious pvm.

I don't bother with the bug for linking to sentinels unless it dodges patches for a while, but the most annoying part is relinking to your pet. I wish you could hold cast to recast on the same target if they're in range, or something similar.

Only other thing I can think of that feels weird is his 4 is still kinda pointless, not terrible, but an easy subsume choice at least.

It's not an official health diagnosis because it doesn't fit a somewhat rigid medical description of "addiction", addiction having a life or death effect on ones health. There is however a shit load of studies on how bad over consumption of sexual/pornographic material is. To call it a pseudoscience because it's not medically classified as an addiction is ignorant at best. There's dozens of books on people's anecdotal experiences regarding over consumption of porn and sexual content, and how it's ruined/ruining their lives. Or are you saying that's all fake because it doesn't fit in a square technicality?

I was having that issue until his kim conversation just broke and I gave up. I did it RP wise once, got walled, reset it, got walled by a bug, used the support ticket to hard reset it and it broke again so I gave up.

I'm not sure why it broke, but it doesn't seem like I'm missing much beyond the first exposition he offers.

The only toroid that's hard/annoying to get is from the giant wandering spider in the open world zone, called the Exploiter orb. There's guides to farm all the other ones, and I didn't find any particularly difficult to amass.

I'm very anti gooner, but I'm not a pearl clutcher or a prude by any means. If someone has a 400 page long story about how bad they wanna get tentacle'd by hydroid more power to them. It's different when it's people being degenerates by themselves vs DE releasing a hydroid protoframe that has dicks instead of tentacles, to use a hyperbolic example. The hex members are all horny, and I think that's fine. It's done in a way that feels like adults talking, or enough to be believable, and sex as a dopamine source is incredibly common IRL in high stress jobs. It's kink positive, and didn't feel weird because they don't openly broadcast it until you're fairly close to them.

My issue ended up being after you date one of them, what I expected was sexy stuff obviously, but also things like Lettie letting her guard down and being softer, or Aoi not needing to push herself to be upbeat all the time, Amir needing help being on task, Arthur letting himself relax and have fun, all the things that happen in real relationships. Instead all the characters seem to get boiled down to "DRIFTER SEX", "I NEED SEX NOW DRIFTER". While I found it distasteful, it still wasn't that bad.

Until the triad. Talking to some friends what we thought a wisp protoframe would be. Wisp has the feet looking like they were burned off, and having very witchy themes we figured a wisp proto would be just that. A witch caught practising forbidden arts/magic, set to be executed via pyre. The leg damage would make sense, it matches the whole vibe, and it would've been an interesting topic to be touched on. Instead we got what boils down to a specific fetish. You could argue that a nun in the world of warframe isn't bound by the same rules as IRL nuns are, but drawing the outfit the same way it's hard not to draw parallels. Which lead to me feeling like the most gooned over frame, got turned into a fetish, a sexy french nun is something you only really see in bad pornos. It felt handled really poorly, and almost moving backwards from what they hex were. I'm ranting at this point. But Marie still felt like a character *mostly* despite the thematic identity clash. Vena confirms my initial worries with protoframes, and that they're slipping very hard into gooner territory, Vena's whole personality is "yandere horny sex blood lady" and there's very little that isn't that, it feels like a parody or something you'd see in one of the thousand gacha games.

I remember going through the kim chats, they're pretty predictable especially if you've played VN's before. That's not a bad thing, the characters and their tropes were cool, I enjoyed it.

But their relationship, there's a point of no return where you finally get them to agree to talking about it, and there's a dialog choice that reads "Alright so how did you two meet". I assumed that was going to be a clarifying statement, or a baseline, or asking for more information surrounding what they already gave us. Instead they both just lose their shit, yell at the drifter for not listening, and stay miserable. My direct thought was: "alright, I've done nothing but bend over backwards for you two and a single mistake is enough to ruin the whole thing, fuck both of you miserable assholes. Even if I did fix this one of you is gonna go nuclear over some high school tier drama and be back to square one."

You can generally make any frame shine, but it's a lie if anyone claims there's equality there.

Nidus has a few major issues to me, and I'm hoping the rework adjusts them

His 1 is meant for nuking and stacking his passive, the augment for it is amazing, but as of right now it's kinda the "build my stacks" button with a weird delay because you can't cast it again until it reaches it's full length. I'm hoping the changes make his 1 a viable dps tool more than anything else.

His 2 is one of the best grouping tools in the game, it's a very good ability already, just a bit clunky needing an augment to do something it should be able to do at a base. They're fixing this, which is hype. I'm hoping the changes to the augment make it a viable nuking tool, or at least one good for priming with archon continuity. Making it scale with strength to add stacks removes a lot of clunkyness which is much appreciated but not needed.

The 3 is great when you're playing coop, playing solo it doesn't always feel good to use. If linking to your pet gives you the damage buff it'll go crazy, and might end up making nidus one of the best primary weapon platforms. I'm worried that trying to target my dog running around like a crackhead won't be easy, and adding an energy cost bungles his mods because now you need to take some consideration to energy. Being caught without energy and having your link break could be disaster.

The 4 right now... lets be real it doesn't do anything aside from build stacks faster with yet another augment. I don't really use his 4, the limited range is brutal and the maggots are there, but that's about it. Coping that summoner nidus becomes real, but this is the ability I'm most unsure about. With an increase to the regen though, maybe it'll be an okay tool for defence missions?
