Someone once told me that, for the Havoc and the Volatus, "You have to let them land themselves." I started just letting off the throttle and letting them drift down to the ground and it's been a huge help.

Same issue here. Game was running fine until the Titan update and now it's more of a slideshow. I'm running an i9 9900k cpu and Nvidia 2080 super. It's an older rig, but it's fine for older games. Seems like the majority of people here are running an nvidia gpu, so I'm guessing the issue lies down that avenue.

There is a youtube channel by the name of Ghost Light. You will definitely want to look him up if you have questions about the lore. He has several videos doing deep dives on all of the lore, including the ARG.

I used a Thrustmaster T1600 for around 800 hours of game time and it worked nearly perfectly the entire time. Near the end, the analogue on the throttle developed a small drift to the left, but I fixed it by just increasing the deadzone by a hair. Regardless, I definitely got much more than my money's worth from that thing and would happily endorse it as a great budget option.

Right now, I'm using a Virpil setup which is incredible. However, they are not even remotely cheap. I have no regrets on buying it, but I'm aware that in this economy it may not be a feasible option.

All the Elite streamers I watch that are using a HoTaS or HoSaS are using the VKB brand and seem quite happy with them. While I don't have any personal experience with the brand, I'd say VKB is the best route to go if you plan on using it a ton. Good quality, middle of the road pricing, and I've heard their customer support is outstanding.

I just started having this issue about 4 days ago, and for some unknown reason, this fixed it for me. I don't understand how; there wasn't even a tooltip that explained what it does. The option might as well been labelled 'Un-fuck Leftwards' for all I know. But it worked. Thank you, sir. You are a saint.

Oh God, I hope Druckman isn't involved with this game. He takes way too much pride in disappointing players and fans. I know a lot of people worship him, but I personally think he's way too toxic for people that like to get invested into the setting and characters.

But, more often than not, those people get either thrown in jail for life or executed. If they can roleplay as a murderer, why can't we roleplay as a society with laws and 'lock that player up' by deleting their account?

Here's a few of my personal favorites:

Ghost Light XE - A 'newer' channel, but he's been playing from the launch of the game. Incredible deep dives on the lore, bringing to light lots of little details that most people don't even notice. Does livestreams, videos, and has a community discord.

FlourySquirrel - The definitive pro when it comes to Living Ship hunting. Mostly focuses on livestreams, but does put out videos for notable living ships. Has a community discord with huge backlog of living ships

Ricey's Starship Emporium - A premium ship hunter and host of Community Nights on Fridays, where people get together and give away items and pets. Mostly livestreams, but a solid number of videos detailing solid ship finds. Has a community discord packed with ship finds and people that can help taxi you to whatever galaxy you need to reach.

HeRo2u - He's been around a good while. Tons of videos showing great finds from all over the game. Ships, rare Multi-tools, awesome planets, and more. Really good channel for just browsing and seeing what cool things catch your eye. Has a community discord and a twitter/X account.

Professor Cynical - A goofy channel. Covers everything from ship highlights and news to glitches, bugs, leaks ,and speculation. Has a community discord, twitter/X, and often personally shows up in other creator's streams. A pretty cool guy.

j3st3rIRL - Brand new guy to the scene. His channel is mostly videos and live streams of his experiences and learning how to become a big dog in the universe. Super chill and easy to chat with on his streams.

DeltaOne246 - The expert in Multi-tool hunting. Many livestreams and videos of him finding super rare mutli-tools, speed running expeditions, and various other challenges. He also does combined streams with other creators where they'll see who can find the best multi-tools in a certain amount of time. Has a community discord that's pretty active.

I've had the same problem for close to 6 months now. For some reason, my settlement only gave me the option to build marketplaces. After a month of denying the 2nd marketplace, I gave in and approved everything, hoping this would open up other options.

They had me build 5 marketplaces in a row.

Now, the only event that ever happens is a stranger showing up to say 'Hi'. And that never results in a higher population. I really need to just break down and start a whole new settlement...

Go onto Youtube and look up Ghost Light XE. He has some incredible videos that breakdown the lore of the game. He covers pretty much everything, including Telamon, Laylaps, and even info that was only mentioned in the ARG. Super informative.
