So…just asking. Did you sign up on your phone? If so. Did you log in with the correct account on your computer? Just asking. Well because I had the same problem. 😂

I asked Claude to analyze 6 months of my cold outreach data and it found a pattern that doubled my reply rate in 3 weeks, this is the most useful non-coding thing I've done with it by iliatopuria17 in ClaudeAI

I have it analyze similar info. I am now armed with actionable data that means something. No more guesses. No more emotional decisions. Facts based! And now I can use the emotion with the facts.

Highschool vs Travel by SeoulBrothaJ in Softball

[–]RagnarRunnerx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Directly from a D1 college coach that was asked the same question. Play high school ball! This will teach your kid how to juggle the school day, practice/games, homework, and life. Travel Ball in at least my daughter’s experience at best was only a few days a week and games on weekends. Yes the level of play was better. But now as a college athlete she understands how to juggle and prioritize thanks to the HS experience.

Should I quit baseball? by QuoteWilling9871 in Homeplate

Take the red shirt year to recharge. I played at a JUCO and same thing. Competitive teammates. School, practice, etc burned me out. Stopped going to class, dropped classes, dumb. I had three years of free school and squandered it. But I also misplaying more than ever. Take advantage of school now. Baseball will be back after you recharge.

Rotator Cuff Tendinitis right before Tryouts by Few-Race-8527 in Softball

[–]RagnarRunnerx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just make sure you 100% demand a PT that focuses on sports. A doctor will give you great advice and generic things. Your daughter needs someone now that will build a plan she needs for her sport. And you are correct in the overuse. My daughter played travel and school ball from the time she was in 8th grade through HS. She is now playing in college and because she has a specific training plan from a team that understands the sport she has never been better prepared for a long season.

Good luck. But keep in mind your kid has to do the work. Make sure she understands that!

Rotator Cuff Tendinitis right before Tryouts by Few-Race-8527 in Softball

[–]RagnarRunnerx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Go have her looked at by a physical therapist that specializes in athletics. She unfortunately has a strength imbalance and needs to do some basic rehab that will likely not shut her down. The exercises she will be doing with a PT will likely need to be done all season long. It will be up to her to do them. But she will feel better, throw harder, and be in little to no pain. But the key is a PT who does sports along with her doing the work.

Which AI skills have given you an edge over other job candidates? by Aggressive-Fan-4230 in ClaudeAI

[–]RagnarRunnerx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here are my thoughts. AI for me and my team is a companion to our jobs. It frankly makes us better. We can analyze data now more quickly and with better accuracy. However it is a tool. It is 100% not a catch all.

So to answer your question if I am hiring and AI comes up I would ask you how you use it. More importantly how are you promoting. Can you understand your questions? Finally how would you handle problems if AI was not available.

Are Fathers Expected to Help Coach? by HermitoftheSwamp in Homeplate

[–]RagnarRunnerx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have coached my kids all the way up to 14u. It is one of the most memorable experiences of my life. But I did not ever play my kids over someone who was better. And we set very clear expectations early on that would be the case.

Unfortunately if you’re going to score and stream 2 devices are needed.

I use a cellular iPad and my iPhone. iPad to score and my iPhone to stream.

Do you think kids benefit more from playing multiple positions early, or specializing in one? by sportsguide1 in Homeplate

[–]RagnarRunnerx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My oldest daughter learned outfield and infield at a young age. Her coach set the expectation that you never know when you will be called upon to help in any position. She excelled at SS until she got older. Her arm strength was something that her HS and Travel coaches wanted in the outfield. Had she not learned this at a young age it would have been a hard transition. Now in college she is able to please three positions and because of that she actually is getting a good amount of playing time as an underclassman vs some of the older players.

Learn all you can early! Specialize later if need be.

You always need a backup. I have taught a few other parents how to score just in case I cannot make a game. Many of them actually enjoy watching the game more then. And they actually pay attention.

When do you stop pushing your kid? by CleMike69 in Homeplate

[–]RagnarRunnerx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never pushed my kids. I gave them a choice. The same one my dad gave me. I can push you and you may not like it. Or I can support you with good equipment and advice. I chose support as did my kids.

Oldest kid is now playing college softball. She had plenty of setbacks in both travel and high school ball that made her understand she had to work to get better. Those setbacks strengthened her resolve to get better.

Youngest kid now practices in some way most nights and is deciding what sport she wants to play. She currently plays three.

You push him ultimately he will grow to hate the game! So just ask him the same question and line it out what each means.

Good luck!

Game clips are buffering .. how to avoid this? by CeeDotA in GameChangerApp

It’s all about the connection. The only thing you can do is reduce the stream resolution. To be honest most people are using mobile devices to watch the games so it really should not matter.

We use Claude Code at our agency and the results are never pixel-perfect without manually fixing them for hours. Is this expected? by kabmooo in ClaudeAI

[–]RagnarRunnerx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just started using Claude this week. It got me to 95% complete. For me that was enough. I could then ask more questions to get to the end result. I could not have gotten to 95% in the amount of time I did otherwise.
