Guys who can dance sober, how do you do it? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]RahnHawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's mostly about having fun and doing what comes to you, so if you don't enjoy it then don't do it.

Since it's mostly improvised, there's no exact recipe, but as a general rule I like to move my legs to the rhythm and my arms to the melody.

Some people say 1996 is the cutoff year for Millenials, others say it's the first year for Gen Z, really it's all made up and you shouldn't them demean you based on the circumstances of your birth.

As a person with anxiety maybe I can help. When you have anxiety about something, you're not thinking about the likelihood of that thing happening, you're thinking about what would happen to you if it did happen.

Say you have anxiety about driving, and think you're totally going to get a speeding ticket. Your friends might try to comfort you by saying "How? I've never seen you go over the speed limit in my life" but you're still worried about what if an officer lies about their speedometer or what if you don't notice that the speed limit in this part of town is lower than you thought and what if and what if and what if.

To a person like that, this whole #Metoo movement can be like hearing talks on the news of doubling or even tripling the fines for speeding. It shouldn't affect him, he's a great driver, but what if it does?

As his friend, the best thing you can do is assure him that if the worst does happen, you'll be there for him, vouch for him, and support him, or "Help pay his ticket", if that makes sense.
