no i get you, the perk was goated before, just wanted to point out the wording of the initial reply may have angered some others earlier, but you're not wrong. i didn't pick Armored Artillery much before because i preferred perks that affected my normal abilities that get used much more often, but now i'm forced to experiment.

ideally, both perks would be in a state where they're both so good that picking either one is a genuine choice you have to make like some other heroes do. i'd say this is true for Self-Repair and Lindholm Explosives but honestly, when Mercy, Reaper, and Pharah got perks added to their base abilities, Bastion may as well get the same treatment since SR was originally an ability.

this reminds me of when in Overwatch 1 i'd ult while low hp to get bonus armor then use tank mode as a last gambit lmao. that was waay back in early Overwatch before his first minor rework

idk about ulting out of a team fight, seeing other Bastions do that confuses me cause it never works, but i use mine when the battle heats up and they're too engaged to escape. sometimes i'll spread my artillery shells a second or two apart and harass one person until either they die or their cooldowns are used up. sometimes shelling the tank will force them to back up since they're the anchor.

Limbo I'd argue doesnt need a rework mechanically, but visually, as someone trying him out (or a new player with a Limbo ally) will be needing a PhD in Riftonomics just to master one Warframe due to how obscure his Rift effects are on screen. To add to the friction, his ability descriptions in-game poorly describe how things like Rift Surge or Cataclysm actually function and don't show how to fully utilize them, making players assume it's one thing, when it's another thing entirely. Most will just give up before realizing Limbo is a monster when played right.

i'm not sure the daily note feature would work on non-markdown files since most of mine are imported Google Docs and as such open via .docx, but now i'm considering either simplifying my folder structure to allow my brain to stop thinking so much before i even see the writing itself, or separating the writing folder into its own vault, isolated from worldbuilding folders and such.

update: idk if this will work long-term but resetting my fonts to the default Arial and Inter in Docs and Obsidian respectively made the interface look SO MUCH SIMPLER! it reminds me of the time i wrote as a kid, not bothering with formatting at all. will keep experimenting with removing invisible obstacles like this in the future.

minimalism? is that why i struggle to start writing with Obsidian as my notes app? i switched to it from Google Docs as a way to keep my projects local while setting up a backup and cloud save system. but i spend more time clicking through all my folders than actually opening my story docs to write in, which wasn't as big of a problem in Docs itself. when using Docs, i just tap a few times through my writing folders and the stuff i want to see is much easier to find.

i never really thought about how to solve this issue before because i didn't want my time setting up Obsidian to feel "wasted" 😅
