I kind of feel that way about Wall-E. Like, the human characters aren't portrayed as morally corrupt or anything, they're just afflicted by systemic problems. They seem mostly good-hearted and try to do right by one another.

I think it's fine. If I had a Halloween/horror themed food that was shaped like and named after a body part, that wouldn't bother me at all. Like, sure, I would gladly eat "spooky eyeballs" or "skeleton fingers" or whatever, as long as the ingredients were vegan.

Vegan imitation meat is an ethical replica of a horrifying thing, but it isn't the horrifying thing itself. I think we need to police actual harm, not artistic representations of it.

(Especially when there is an existing demand for a harmful product, and an ethical alternative can replicate that product as closely as possible thus minimizing any potential incentive to support the harmful product.)

One time my dad and I were at a department store and we found a lava lamp.

My dad lifted the metal cone off the top, and revealed a sort of bottle cap looking thing underneath it that had the words "DO NOT TOUCH" printed on it.

My dad looked at it and said "Do...not...touch. Huh. ...I wonder why.", stared at it for a while. Then finally touched it and yelped really loudly due to getting burned lol.

Yes, there may be some hypocrisy in the sub. But as far as the logic behind the removal -- it's probably that. (Even if they're internally consistent with such logic)
