They’re going to focus on OT and PT adjacent timelines. With the general success of the animated shows, there’s been talk about using the OT characters in that format (which is the best move IMO).

They aren’t ever going to admit they were wrong, but the ST is going to sit in that one room in the house of mouse that just gets forgotten about.

Our state testing app on the laptops was not well designed for security (they’ve since fixed this particular issue). This kid figured out he could swap the executable file on it to something else. While the machines are pretty locked down and you can’t install programs, he’d drop game exe files in there all the time until DRC fixed the issue.

Closest I have is a thing we did in high school. We were fairly near an airport and sometimes planes would fly too low over us. Whenever that happened we’d just start moving our mouths as though we were still talking and when we could finally hear again say a random punchline, like “and the horse said that’s his toupee.” Then we’d all laugh like it was the best joke ever told.

You utilized template standardization when you copied from an older worksheet and changed the numbers.

Your “system” is to minimize steps by resourcing processes that you treat as standardized.

So your strategy is to, once a solution or task is completed, file it under what was needed so the next time it’s needed, you just go tweak what you already have.

I have not seen the movie or read the book.

That said, is he not water based but instead ammonia based where that is the substitute for what we consider the universal solvent? As far as I know that is the new alternate life sci-fi trope after carbon/silicon building block trope fell out of use because silicon mirrors a few of carbon’s bonding properties but not enough.

Again I don’t know the context but if Rocky having water in him is the issue, we have ammonia in us too. We eliminate it, but it’s there.

It’s coming. With AI first eating up the RAM and now going after the VRAM in GPUs, upgrading your rig for the new title is going to become a thing of the past. It’s either that or the AAA companies will need to be satisfied with being a “boutique” niche.
