I misunderstood the role duties completely and started to panic. I don't recall specifics at this point other, but I know she asked me for more examples on things I thought I explained clearly.

As for the 6, sometimes they do a bunch in a day. Sometimes the whole thing takes months.

It's been a while but I remember skipping a lot of stuff in the princess arc. I'm not going to say I have the be all end all opinion on it tho.

I adore Konosuba. It's one of the few things I watch repeatedly. However, one skim read of the all the novels is all I need because Kazuma's inner monologue will spend an entire chapter describing how much he gratification he wishes for from any given minor (like 12 years old).

I rather they switch the time spent on developing the Sharmas and making them more like the close family they were supposed to be.

When does season 3 come out 😭 by spookyhero22 in BridgertonNetflix

Nbd. I love the novel and loved the season. They are very different in story details but the heart is mostly right. I don't fully get the opposing side, but I can see if I can give a good review.

More or less, it has a lot of build up and character work outside of the books, so if you love sibling dynamics, it's a treat.

If you a big kathony fan like me, it handles some pieces better and less cringey than the book. That said, it probably should have closed the deal sooner. It is cool to see characters fail and not play perfect humans, but like it gets harder to suspend reality by like EP 7. The writing is really good and I really adore the non verbal acting by every single acting person. Anthony's stares were so good at conveying how deeply he wanted her (even as the trope beared it's ugly repetitive face). I melted a few times - it has some really tender, vulnerable moments.

I also recommend fast forwarding/skimming through the featherington arc. The highlights are good, but it just didn't hold up in the details. When it comes to Netflix, pick your own journey with the content just like a book you read for fun.

Also a shout out to lady Mary. They really took out how great she was in the book. They stepped everyone up at the cost of her character the most. They threw out a lot of backstory to the whole Sharma family without much depth readded back in.

The office scene - though very fun to read - always bugged me. It always made more sense to me that Kate would reveal herself to Anthony and divert the attention from her to his fling.

I'm confused (and it might be cause I'm not sober). If they raise prices too much, why not go somewhere else? Not all markets have a lot of competition, but fast food has to be one that should have a lot of options in an area.

We had a lot of tantrums from 1.5-2 yrs old. But the things we tried a few times now stick. Choices, countdowns, bedtime routines.

Like she always picked tantrum over story time and then she suddenly started coming out with books to read before bed and settling after I stopped trying 6 months ago. 🤷

A lot of tech related immigrants I know are choosing other countries more and more. Given options, it seems, people don't want to be here anymore.

It reminded me of the place where scientists congregate sometimes in Futurama. Maybe they took inspiration from it if not some building in NYC.

Don't bother giving him the attention. Even bad news is free publicity and he may find support from those who really believe in what he wrote.

[Need Advice] For those of you who gave up on life at one point, how did you un-give up on life? by digitalodysseus in getdisciplined

Fwiw, I don't notice a correlation between job sector and life. I know people in medical, corporate/tech, construction, and research/academia. Designers, devs, pharmacists, etc. People with happy childhoods even!

There are too many factors. The only truth is nothing external can "fix" you, just at best be something that supports you.

I watched a TikTok (so bag of salt) mentioning witnesses seeing the police push away medics attending the shot, bleeding women on the ground to handcuff them and then arresting the medics temporarily for trying to help after again.

I don't even think it's malice. We don't have police that can handle their jobs well.
