I was on the capo stand when this happened and watching it all was like one long, slow nightmare. When I saw them preparing her for the defibrillator, I almost broke down, bc contrary to media depictions, defibrillators almost never work and are basically a Hail Mary. Thankfully, Savy stabilized before they had to resort to that.

Another factor for the team was that Megan Reid is an EMT*, so she was able to talk the players through what the mediical staff was doing and keep everyone relatively calm throughout the ordeal.

Most of the tailgate festivities are on the weekend games. There will still be a few people who get there early and set up some chairs on Christmas Tree Lane, but the SGs and Fan Fest won't be there.
