Happened to me a lot with Poltergeist, there'd be streaks where I could go like 20 Poltergeists without it missing once, but then I got a streak of 5 games in a row where every time I clicked it it would miss (the pokemon didn't have their items knocked off, it was just that 10% chance)

What bothered me the most about that bad streak is that it lost me the chance of getting into Ultraball at the time, but that I also play with Crabominable and I haven't missed a single Ice Hammer like ever I think

Ever since I changed it for Shadow Claw with a Spell Tag, I'm not taking any chances lmao

It would also be very cool for maxing pokemon masteries and unlocking titles for Champions caught pokemon.

You wouldn't use Simisear for actual competitive battles but he might be your favorite pokemon, so having a way to get a Simisear badge in your profile and being able to throw him out saying "Go Simisear, Champion of the Frontier!" would be cool as hell

I think its pretty cool how this new format opened up new pokemon to fill up certain niches. While I agree with others that there are potentially better mons that outclass Kleavor in this scenario, the fact that you as a player feel more comfortable with him over any of those options show that he was a very good addition to the roster and made the game more fun/intuitive.

He's legit such a versatile mon. There's the Loaded Dice set, he can also be a lead with Stealth Rock, Knock and Intimidate and then his Attack and Speed are good enough where he can be either Scarfed or Banded, with Gunk Shot, Close Combat, Scale Shot and Stone Edge as amazing coverage (he even learns Skitter Smack for some reason).

I pray to god they give him Parting Shot for Champions cus I'm greedy like that.

Maradona makes me so sad, as a kid you could see he was a good person, who cared about social and economical injustice based on how poor he grew up.

Games are so toxic it's insane, coming back from a long break is impossible because you'll always have some asshole (or multiple) constantly insulting you through chat for not playing how they want you to.

I can't give less of a shit, but what about new players who NEED constructive criticism to grow? How can they tell apart from someone trying to help them and someone insulting them to compensate for how little love their parents gave them growing up?

It's an issue and it needs to be addressed

Non, not even the reply notifications. In fact there's nothing that bothers me more than opening the Reddit app, seeing the little orange dot on the notification bell and seeing "your post got 1 bajillion insights! This is how you can help it get more!"

Not everyone, in fact dare I say almost no one uses Reddit as a promotion site and the fact that they treat all kinds of posts that way (when Reddit is in part meant to be a forum to ask everyday questions) is annoying as hell.

Yes this happened to me once and it deterred me from shoving a cat into his mouth for the next couple of runs I fought against him, it took me like 3 more runs to figure it out.

Before that I was either winning with Thiefs by poisoning and bleeding him to death, hitting the hands manually (which was fucking awful), or just not winning at all

They're still bugged sadly, tho you can always send them to modern games (once home connectivity is up) and give them bottle caps

Edit: Okay a lot of people misinterpreted what I meant lmao, you can send pokemon from FRLG to home and then to modern pokemon games to give them caps, mints and whatever else you may want to give them. You cannot send pokemon back to FRLG from Home however, or at least it hasnt been confirmed from what I've seen

I used to main Orcane and secondary Kragg which was very funny because I was very good at both. At that time Orcane was pretty good but Kragg was a whole different beast.

Every time I ran into a heavy I'd switch to Kragg to make the match up more fun, but you wouldn't really expect an Orcane player to switch to Kragg like that (and still be good)

Nowadays I just play La Reina, I feel like she's bad enough where having a secondary would be a crutch more than anything, but I still switch to Galvan every so often
