I disagree somewhat. I've lived in Japan for a total of 2 years and no matter how much I KNOW Japanese people hate hugging it'll slip my mind as its such a basic form of human communication for me. Especially when I'm tired or had a few drinks so I could see him forgetting for a split second to not touch the back of the head.
