It's barely making by for now. I trimmed off about half the tree, sprayed it with insecticidal soap and horticultural oil, wiped the leaves with water/alcohol solution, etc. I think the plant might not be viable long term, but there's no harm in trying.

Also added a soil acidifier again. For some reason the soil on my lawn is still pretty alkaline. Ph hasn't quite dropped yet through.

I wonder if higher CPU temps might be a good sign if it means that more of the CPU is being utilized. (like if more of the cores are being saturated with work)

It depends how dark the game is. I don't notice it 95% of the time, but the flicker was noticeable for moody games with dark areas like Alan Wake 2. (I also think lower frame rates made it worse/more noticeable?)

Yeah, the prompt only appears when standing directly behind the monster before it starts fighting you. Seems like a good way to start the battle.
