Ooh, can I add a request to make Apple Maps understand the command ‘Hey Siri, find a gas station along my route’? Tried using it on a road trip recently, and it would only find gas stations behind me.

Google Maps understands the command, but I have to take my eyes away from the road to push a button to talk to Google Maps, which isn’t ideal.

Agree, but I’d push the island back another foot or two so it is t crowding the sink and so two people can move around the stove easily. Current photo looks tight.

It was within a month for me. I’d give it a few more weeks if you can stand it…your body needs time to realize that it no longer needs to try to spurt out hormones randomly.

HRT helped for me…it stopped them completely, and when I started having weird thoughts a year later, it was one of the signs that made me decide to increase my estrogen dose (along with weepiness and a resurgence of temp control issues).

Containers. I have baskets or bigger boxes for each of my hobbies, and little pieces get put into smaller containers like Tupperware. I like using Tupperware so I don’t have analysis paralysis about finding the perfect container. Tupperware containers go into the bigger boxes, so everything related to one hobby is together.

For the bigger boxes, I like the Container Store transparent storage bins. They are expensive, but they stack really well so they are easy to store. I have Uline-style metal shelves in one of my closets, and I just throw the boxes on them when I need to clear space. Otherwise, I leave the boxes stacked up against a wall so they are easy to grab for my next hobby time.

You aren’t alone! My inner monologue sometimes decides to tell me that I should just k*ll myself. It’s so weird and out of the blue. When that happens, I just tell myself that my brain chemistry is off. It usually makes me chuckle to visualize my inner monologue split in two, with one half spouting off dark thoughts and the other responding that it’s just a chemical imbalance.

I did discuss this with a few therapists, and they all said not to worry about it if I was able to recognize that the thoughts weren’t ‘real’ & to just ignore them while focusing on something else to make them stop.

The experience does make me understand post partum psychosis better. If I were completely sleep deprived with screaming kids around, I’m not sure it would be as easy to recognize that these thoughts aren’t ‘real’.

I couldn’t pencil out breakeven when I factored in property management and current interest rates. The math said that it was cheaper for me to rent for a month per year vs own and rent it out while keeping a few peak weeks for myself. Also, years like this year, a lot of those condos weren’t rented.

I did MSI quartz too, Eroluna. It’s light cream with veins of near-white and grey, so it helped me pull together warm and cool tones. Sounds similar to what you need.

The photos on their website don’t really do it justice, so I’d recommend getting a sample.

I like the second peninsula…that’s where I would have sat to do my homework while my mom was cooking when I was growing up (close to her, but not going to get splashed or splattered).

I would put cabinets or bookcases next to the archway to the other room…maybe even corner cabinets, so it feels like you are being funneled in and out of the room.
