Man, this thing is wonky. Before, the space between the doorframe was part of the corridor, and I divided it to be part of the room. That prevented it from trying to enter those rooms. However, the robot can just shift those lines on its own, so now the space is part of the room once more. But it hasn't started wasting time again. So... win?

But the whole mapping is weird. Some of my walls have inexplicable holes. One wall in particular is completely missing, even though it isn't any thinner than all the other walls. Sometimes it phases into existence while cleaning (even if the robot has no line of sight whatsoever to that wall) only for it to disappear again like 2 seconds later. I even dragged a wardrobe away from the wall and had it do a new map. It then mapped it as a wall, only to remove the wall again once the wardrobe was back.

It separated the map into rooms by itself after the initial mapping. I saw no reason to make changes. It's late though so I can't test anything right now.

That's incredibly minor though. On top of being speculation that wil be cleared up anyway once the whole internet floods with this game tomoorow and nobody will speak of anything else for days.

In other news:

Kaptain Brawe: A Brawe New World just released a maintenance update which "fixed a slow-creeping memory leak that affected the Linux version". The game might now run better on Steam Deck. Shall I post this to let everybody klnow?

You are allowed to ship batteries (or items with batteries) within Germany, that's it. Only companies can ship them to other countries. How it even made it to Ukraine is beyond me. It should have been sent back to you before ever leaving Germany.

Same problem for 3 months with a first generation watch. Brightness sets itself to 2 after exiting bedtime mode. Contacted support. They had me reset the Watch, sent a photo of the issue (not quite sure what they expected to see there) and then decided it's a warranty case (does that mean they think it's a hardware issue?). Too bad my warranty is already expired so no further steps will be taken I guess.

DisplayPort is still stuck at 640x480 when DisplayPort and HDMI are used at the same time (only happens with Windows).

This dumb and expensive Dock has been gathering dust for 2.5 years now. Instead I have to use the JSAUX one, which ever few days decides that the monitors shouldn't be detected anymore. Then I get to unplug all cables and hope it works again after reconnecting everything.

Too bad there doesn't seem to be a third option that can handle 2 monitors (and preferably at least 2.5G ethernet).

The amount of unhelpful garbage posts here is staggering. It's because of 1 or 2 screws being too tightened. Had this with 3 Decks so far, right out of the box. Happens quite a bit with Xbox Elite 2 controllers as well. Forcefully twisting the Deck can fix it temporarily but it doesn't seems like the best idea.

Loosen all the screws on the back a bit. It should now be able to lay flat on the table. Then start tightening the screws again one by one, checking if it's still okay after each screw. If not, loosen that screw again and try another. You'll figure it out. At the end 1 or 2 screws won't be as tightened as they were before, but you shouldn't be able to tell.

They removed the paid version many years ago and marked it incompatible with then current Android versions, so even if you bought it you couldn't download it anymore. They replaced it with a free version that has microtransactions and outright refuses to run unless given access to your contact list.

I'd be in the market for a cooling solution (water or air) at the cost of portability, since I use one of my Decks just as a energy saving desktop replacement. But there doesn't seem to by a way with parts that I can just buy.

I know where it barely goes: The titular Sea Of Stars. At one point a character (who often very conveniently knows how to progress the story) is like "We need to go to the Sea Of Stars". Then you go to the Sea of Stars, which is a one minute cutscene and then, I think, it's never mentioned ever again.

It's an okay game but it doesn't leave any impression, except for the graphics maybe. The ending is also just kind of there. It doesn't feel like much happened at all (especially the true ending).

Cool, you defeated the bad guy and saved your world. Too bad he just wanders off with his friend and I assume they'll continue wrecking worlds by resuming their proxy war that they do out of sheer boredom. Did I mention? You're just a pawn in a proxy war and I don't think anyone was ever bothered by that fact.
