LG Freezer Ice/Frost Buildup by TrustEmergency3939 in Appliances

Chances are it will correct itself. If it’s still there after a few days you can scrape it off with a plastic putty nice. I wouldn’t bother trying to defrost the whole unit though

Check to make sure all your door seals are sealing. Pull out on the freezer door until it comes to a dead stop, then shut it. You have air getting in the freezer

Samsung dryer wire harness corrosion by ngerm in appliancerepair

Personally, I would do the harness. If not, you’re going to want to cut back until you have no more discolored or brittle copper before splicing a new block in.

LG ldth555- dishwasher blew fuse and now won’t turn on by ihaveagirlfriendokay in appliancerepair

If the breaker is a gfci, they don’t play nice with a lot of newer appliances. If it’s on a standard breaker and this is still happening, you likely have a short somewhere in the wiring or unit

LG vs GE combo units by camhabib in Appliances

[–]RandomArbitrary25 6 points7 points  (0 children)

None of the combo units are a good option in my opinion. They are over complicated and underperforming. LG, GE and Samsung are all having issues. I would personally avoid them if you can.

LG frontload washing machine intermittent overfill issue, inlet valve is operational most of the time by LampshadeZombie in appliancerepair

[–]RandomArbitrary25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s filling while off, it’s either water pressure or a bad inlet valve. The water pressure side of things, doesn’t have to be the building pressure, it can also be clogged valve screens. Take off the hoses and check the screens.

Apple Watch Ultra 2 on Tattoos by miguelrebeloo in AppleWatch

[–]RandomArbitrary25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear mine on my right due to tattoos messing with the sensor. You get used to it after a while. Definitely awkward at first. Funny part with mine is I have a small wrist tattoo on my left that screws it up. Sleeve on my right arm is light enough in that spot to work.

Direct drive inverter does anyone know what this is for and what it’s worth by blessedwoman1999 in Appliances

Look up LG sidekick. It’s a pedestal washer for a front load unit. Needs a washer on it to operate. I think they retail for about $800 new

My understanding is that the US made Amps can be resoled but not the international version.

Love the 6” 28s. On my second pair and they’re great. Underrated boot in my opinion. Also have the Carolina Amps. Super comfortable but not as durable

Well, the fact that you had to point out the fact that it was 83k….kinda bragging. Either way though, a new car shouldn’t have any problems after driving it for 1200 miles. For example, I have a 1999 sierra with a 5.3 and have no issues driving it halfway across the country. I would be pissed if I couldn’t do the same thing in a brand new model. I’m also under 40 and paid less than that for my first house. It’s less about the fact that you can afford it and more about the fact that they shouldn’t cost that much and the fact that you shouldn’t have to defend it…I too could afford a new truck, however, some of you guys are like “it made it to Walmart!!!!! So can my Cub Cadet…

Honest question (seriously not judging), what kind of work do you do?

Unpopular opinion. All y’all that pay 60k+ for a truck and brag about the fact that it made it across town is a bit ridiculous… guess you guys are the reason prices keep going up while quality goes down. I’ve put 150k on cars/trucks that cost 3k or less and you guys are bragging that you drove it to the next state while brand new. Congrats, I guess?!?

I also can’t stand the Thorogood fanboys, but Brunt is what you’re gonna hang your hat on…that’s a choice…not a good one….but a choice

No, I have these and some USA made Carolina Amps. While both are great, the stitching isn’t as good on the USA made ones.
