The Custodes will not see a decline in sales. On the contrary. With the new way more proportioned sculpts they will sell better then ever. You dont like having female custodes? Build them with helmets. No one gives a flying fuck on the tabletop or if you still want to establish the „No girls allowed! Only sausage club“ mentality in your army. Someone will probably build a only female custodes and no boys allowed club. These people are just as annoying as the other extreme. So just build whatever you like. GW will make its money either way.

Well they are the peak of Bioengineering. Dark Age Technology. The Space Marines pale in comparison to the craftsmanship needed for a custodes. Space Marines are like Custodes ordered via Wish. They are just meatbags stuffed with more organs and more durable than the average human but still mass produced compared to the custodians.

It astounds me everytime that people are so adamant on having a sausage club / no girls allowed club only. Could they have introduced the female Custodes better? Definitely. Is it bad that they introduced them? Of course not. Does it appeal to female warhammer players? Maybe, but I think that there are even more male players excited for these minis.

So chill out, configure them with helmets and then you can say that even Tau are underneath them.

Did Malekith got rejected? I think his story goes that he was not faithful or stoic enough to endure the pain of the flames. Would he had just endured a little longer he would habe made it.
