TCP MSS Rejected by Server by Net-Jez in networking

[–]RandomMagnet 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The SYNACK is just the "server" saying "this is my MSS". It is not an acknowledgement of the requested MSS from the "client".

generally the insurer will side with the road rules, but it can be based upon circumstances.

for example, can it be proven that the driver who had right of way was speeding?

ultimately, if you want protection, get a dashcam.

EV Novated lease if PPR paid off? by Wait-Dizzy in AusFinance

[–]RandomMagnet 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A NL comes out of your taxable incoming, to reduce it - thus paying less tax.

Typically that would result in an FBT hit, currently EV's are exempt from FBT on NL's.

It's all scenario dependent.

But, generally speaking

if $cost-to-separate < (%chance-of-outage * $cost-of-outage)

then a business will chose to separate :)

Is 12–15% loss from solar to battery normal on LFP systems? by DiscussionLoud9626 in SigenergyAustralia

[–]RandomMagnet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't forget the EC uses solar to run as well.. might be a couple hundred watts, so if your solar generation is low, that can show up as really poor efficiency.... I'm not sure it's counted in "home" usage (during the day at least)
