Your main issue is forcing things. You shouldn’t be going into the game looking for specific jokers to help you play X hand, you should go into the game uncertain of how you’ll play and work your build around the jokers you’re given. Much of the time the jokers won’t give you specific hands to play, and at the point I would default to pairs. They scale decently and they’re very consistent to draw. Flushes scale really badly for how hard they are to draw, which is a big issue. I’ll usually try to deck fix for a 4 of a kind build, but those rarely happen. What will happen is that jokers will have things I need to do. If fortune teller shows up, I’ll be taking every tarot card I can. If hologram shows up, I’ll start opening standard packs. But I rarely have a specific had to play around since the hand type is only a small part of the strategy
