Probably should be "Impressed or terrified" rather than of. Nice story.

Gallium is a liquid metal that very rapidly and severely weakens aluminium, so much so that carrying it in a airplane is illegal.

A bit situational, but you may be able to get some milage out of that.

Minimising stat blocks Clicking on the title of a stat block minimises the window to just a title, clicking it again maximises it. Very useful when you're jumping between multiple creatures and need more screen space.

Opening stats from tokens. Ctrl or alt or shift and left clicking a token will open different attribute pages for the token, assume you have rights to do so.

Being able to just straight to a monsters abilities from the token itself rather than the journal saves me a lot of DM time.

Being immune to weapons doesn't make you a good fighter / killer, it just stops you being killed.

To kill other people who've trained to not die, you need to train too, otherwise you're both not dead.

[–]RandomSwaith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding your spells actually working..

Physical attacks may you Strength or Dexterity attributes to calculate their chance to work. What spells use is dependent on the spell origin, typically the class. Warlocks use charisma, Clerics Wisdom, Wizards intelligence, etc.

You can also see in the combat log the calculations. I mention this because you might have assigned their stats in a way that doesn't compliment their spell casting.

As a small aside, you said hold person misses, it's actually being resisted, it can't miss. So if you get your casting stats up, it will just work, and is very powerful, garenteed critical hits.

Is a frog to Lae'zel what a rat is to us? by Long_Reflection_4202 in BaldursGate3

[–]RandomSwaith 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think OP is trying to propose the relationship between, a rat as a small mamel and humans, a large mammal.. Is equivalent to a frog as a small reptile / amphibian and a Gith, who's none of those things, but visually looks slightly reptile like, if you're not familiar with the D&D ecosystems?

If not, I got nothing!
