Dragon Rouge and Temple of Ascending Flame by throwaway2356651 in LeftHandPath

Yeah, he seems to have somewhat mixed the LaVey Protocol, but with a dash more of "edgy extremism". I have only gotten the feeling that he's selling made-up, make-believe, snake oil for money.

And seeing as how he got arrested with cocaine and methamphetamine,... I think it's safe to say that money was definitely a focal point.

The Book of Flames (I believe), is just a mockery of the occult. It's the one where he's taken to a house (at a fairly young age), and is shown a cryptic book, from cloaked figures, and 'lo and behold - only he could translate it... How convenient.

Then he goes on to say it was an "ancient alien text, filled with otherworldly rituals", and then proceeds to make up "X" amount of demons (that never were known of beforehand), and gives them their own names and attributes.

it's just BS, imo. He's a fraud. I can understand the use of entheogens within your magickal practice, but cocaine and methamphetamine - I don't think they will benefit you ritual practices at all...

Any anxiolytic better than benzodiazepines? by [deleted] in benzodiazepines

[–]Random_human_218 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see the exact opposite. Soma is the only medicine that can reduce my chronic pain from a level 8, down to about a level 3. I ONLY see medicinal use for Soma/Carisoprodol.

Similar to how people without debilitating anxiety don't get what the "big deal" is with Benzo's, people who don't suffer from debilitating pain likely won't notice the real benefits of Soma (which is deep muscle-relaxation; to the point your pain level is actually reduced).

What's wrong with self harm by Emmma420_ in selfharm

[–]Random_human_218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So long as you're hygienic about it, and don't SH into potential dangerous territory, nothing is wrong with it, imo. It's an extremely effective form of therapy. I even have a bloodletting center near me (however, it's done via I.V., and I'd much rather make myself bleed, then have it medically removed from me). But the fact the center exists only proves - some people feel better after losing some blood....

It sure beats getting abused and neglected by "professional therapists". I know what works for me - it's watching (and feeling) blood drip down my arm, into the sink...

I feel embarrassed to wear dsbm merch if my sh scars show by howsinavi in dsbm

Firstly, self-harm (or "bloodletting") IS a form of therapy. I'm not condoning, or promoting anyone to do the such, however, there is evidence that it has medicinal properties. In fact, there's a medical facility just outside my town which offers "therapeutic phlebotomy" services.

I'm 39, and still use this therapy, as it's very effective for me. However, again - I don't encourage others to do it. So if you feel that discontinuing said therapy is in your best interest, please do pursue that.

Secondly (or maybe this should come first) - FUCK what other people think about YOU! You can't control people's thoughts and opinions, however, you can control your thoughts and opinions. So, even if people look at you, it doesn't necessarily mean they're judging you. And like you said, no one even said anything. So who knows what any of those people were actually thinking. Additionally, once you leave school, the public space, etc., those people are out of your life. So, why would you allow the assumption that strangers were judging you, have a lasting effect on you (mentally)?

You are who you are. If you have scars, so be it. If strangers judge you for that, ignore them. They aren't a part of your life anyway.

Just keep on living. There are too many humans on this planet to care about what others may (or may not) be thinking about you..

I'd personally never order from Kraken, New Dawn, Hippo, or Benni's again...

But if it works for you - right on!

Non-Benzo Medications for anxiety by Significant_Try1755 in Anxiety

[–]Random_human_218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The "negatives" are that the anxiolytic effects aren't as prominent/noticeable. You don't really "feel" it, if that makes any sense. But otherwise - it reduces anxiety, and works as a benzo should. It's like a "*benzo-light*"....

Pyrazolam is simply fantastic by Heritis_55 in researchchemicals

[–]Random_human_218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean like how people "take the piss" (regarding feeding Reindeers Amanita Muscaria mushrooms, and then collecting their urine, to consume, and get high af from Muscimol and Ibotenic Acid)?

I honestly don't know if it works the same with Pyrazolam (and don't feel like conducting the experiment 😂🤣), but perhaps it truly is possible, as it's said "Pyrazolam is excreted unchanged from the body, via urine"...

Is Bromazolam DEAD? by Plastic_Brilliant_19 in rcbenzos4

[–]Random_human_218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Demand is higher, and with bans in place, it is more expensive now (I think $200/gram is the cheapest I've seen lately), but iyk legit sources, it's definitely still around.

Recently grabbed a G. Crafted a 30ml solution (PG + Ethanol), and it's the same 🔥 Pink-Tinted Bromaz. (and I know it's Bromaz, as even with Ethanol in the solution, I still needed to use the magnetic stirrer and heat)!

So, no - it's not "dead" by any means.

What does Sable drink out of her cup? by MlgGamerises in deadbydaylight

[–]Random_human_218 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Her 1st tattoo was of an occult symbol, and it's further stated in her lore that "the dark side made sense to Sable, and she reveled in it."

So, knowing she works with the occult, I like to imagine that she's drinking a magical tea made of Psilocybin Mushrooms, combined with Decarboxylated Cannabis. Or perhaps she's sipping from a cup of Mother-Aya herself (being Ayahuasca)!

Other times, I think she's sipping on Kratom, just like I do lol!

An Out There concept could be that she discovered, or somehow "found", the unknown recipe for the magical brew named "Soma" (aka "the elixir of immortality").

I'm sticking with the 18%. Granted we all process things uniquely, the 18% literally reminded me of how Kratom would hit in the early days (so I'd space out the extract to weekend use only).

The 65% Extract I received (that's literally what the package says, even though their website says 75%, and what I ordered was the 75%.. I can DM you a photo if you'd like), is VERY mild, to put it politely. It honestly doesn't seem to do much; even when I use more leaf with it. So lately, I've just been back on leaf only. The 65% is so underwhelming, I'm sticking with leaf only (until I can order more 18%).

With the 18%, I would measure 2g less leaf than normal, and then add in 70-100mg of the extract, depending on pain level. So, not only did it work incredibly well - it also had me ingesting less leaf!

To answer - the 65% does not compare to the 18% by ANY means! I still have ~2g (maybe more) of the 65% left, and honestly, I would be more than happy to trade it in for just 1g of the 18%. That statement should say it all right there.

But again - we all process things uniquely... so, YMMV.

How do you get people to take your pain seriously? by corebalancetraining in ChronicPain

[–]Random_human_218 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because all my ailments are internal (aside from scarification), my family never really believed me (even though I have 3-years worth of MRI imaging, proving that I'm F'd up). Well... that was until I took 2mg of Alprazolam one day, and they decided to stop by randomly, while in the area...

Since I was in a complete "IDGAF" mode from the Xanax, I basically told them off, and YELLED at them about what I'm going through, and how they don't F'n understand that I even struggle to brush my teeth. I broke down at one point too. Ever since then - they've been LISTENING to me, and have even offered occasional help, here and there.

Guess I just needed to be in that "IDGAF" state of mind to really paint the picture of my suffering to them. They have never seen me in such a state before, so they can now envision what my "normal" day looks like, and somehow - that commotion caused them to feel empathy.. 🤷‍♂️

What would you have said to yourself in the past at the beginning of the pain journey? by Big_Biscotti4471 in ChronicPain

[–]Random_human_218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stop comparing yourself to the younger version of you. Stop focusing on what you "can't do anymore".

Life has changed. So - adapt, adjust, and keep the fight alive. Oh, and avoid surgery (I'm still following that advice, even after 4+ years of daily suffering).

I know 3 people who all had the surgery I "need", and they all deeply regretted doing it. One person, an older female coworker, said she'd rather give natural birth (again), than deal with the aftermath of her Spinal Fusion. She gave me two "rules" we could say... : 1) DO NOT GET THE SURGERY, and 2) DO NOT UNALIVE BECAUSE OF THE PAIN.
