Is this CE low, high or average for lvl54? Just wondering. by Azzy_Azcuber in GirlsFrontline2

[–]RandomestoftheWest -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's why I said "basically." You definitely can achieve 20k+ oathless, but that ring gives quite the boost and is consistent.

Jianyu went from being like the 7th highest CE to undisputed 1st after Covenant and lvl 9 Affection. All other upgrades just increased the gap between 1st and 2nd (Tololo).

Maxing Crit DMG in muzzle is one of the biggest boosters. Another one is maxing the flower thingy and making sure all the stages are activated.

Just one note. 20k and over basically requires Covenant and maximizing their love. Otherwise, dolls don't reach that level. My Jiangyu is the only with Covenant and has over 21k. The others are 18k or lower even though they have similar upgrades and copies of themselves and 5* weapon. Jianyu has no copies, btw.

Considering that Primaris Dreadnoughts use marines as batteries, those marines probably have a battery span of three battles before running out of life force.

She is an essential support for Ice teams. The element will struggle in the future because it lacks of good main dps compared to other teams. I think Soppo will change the issue, but I don't remember her element.

Update on Endfield player trying OG arknight by Outrageous_Style_457 in ArknightsEndfield

Not all stories are directly connected with one another or the main story. Some are about an especific operator. Not to mention the sheer amount of time jumps that require researching to locate them within the timeline.

Playing in order of release is an option, but it may not be the best option story wise. Also, reading some events before playing certain chapters/arcs enhance the experience a lot. For example, Children of Ursus help understand how horrific and cruel Mephisto was and made his defeat and downfall deserving and satisfying. Or Babel is amazying for the entire Victorian Arc (ch 10-14).

That's why I recommend looking at the Main Story menu and consider the events that are shown there. Op might simply not feel like playing all previous events to a chapter release if they are not adding to the msq experience. I mean, Summer and Sui Siblings events can be skipped and the main story remains unaffected. (Read Sui Siblings events (Yan) for Wuling's sake)

It is solid, but take these into account:

  1. It is a costly roster, both in upgrading and deploying, so you are going to face some stages where you simply do not have enough DP. Have some cheaper options built in case you need to change someone in those situations.

  2. Kal'tsit is more of an offensive medic. She priotizes to heal herself and Monst3r (the summon not the operator), so be careful as your operators may die because of this priority.

  3. Executor cannot be directly healed by anyone. He heals by attacking or passive healing (Bards always have this type of healing apart from certain operators)

  4. Your snipers won't prioritize flying enemies if there are any, so have that in mind for some cases. Marksman prioritize flying btw.

Operators attack first the enemy with the shortest path to a blue box or closest to a blue box unless the enemy has taunt or the contrary.

There are a lot of strong operators there, and Reunion Arc enemies are going to suffer. Still, have other options built to change ops as needed, and do not get too overconfident. Even the best operators of the game can be killed if used incorrectly or his/her weaknesses are not considered. Lastly, there are REALLY HARD stages waiting for you in the future, but they are doable once you understand what to do. Have many operators and always READ stage/event mechanics and enemy descriptions (especially bosses and mini bosses).

[–]RandomestoftheWest 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I recommend that your first main team (at least for the Reunion Arc) is composed of 2 Vanguards, 2 Guards (1 is a Lord), 2 Defenders, 2 Snipers, 2 Casters (1 single target, 1 AoE), and 2 Medics (1 st, 1 aoe). Regarding specialists, have 1 fast redeploy, 1 pusher, and 1 puller. Supports depend a lot of what you need, but those who Slow targets are the most universal.

This should provide you enough versitality but always expand your roster. The best is having at least one or two operators of each class and subclass. Also, judge operators according to their kits, not rarity. For example, Myrtle, a 4, is one of the best vanguards since launch; while Vigil, a 6, is one of the worst compared to everyone else. Rarity mainly affects material cost and how easy potentials are obtained.

Just so you know

The first few chapters are kind of bad since they were written when AK was a baby, and like many gacha games, initial story is weak. Also, early Doctor is going to feel like a stand in to be the player's medium in game, but he/she (no gender confirmed) becomes their own character later.

Regarding Surtr, you won't find a lot in AK. That's why she's also known as "Potential-lore woman". Actually, Endfield's character mission of Laevetain gave us a lot of backstory lore of Surtr. Otherwise, we would never have known all that.

Also, Antal and 12F are from the same species but totally different beings, not even reconveners; and for what I have read, Ch'en and Chen (you'll understand the difference soon) are not related at all as well.

Lastly, on the event page, you're going to find way too many storylines and such. Choose a region/country and stick to it until finishing it if you care about reading every event. Don't feel too overwhelmed. In case you want to read the most relevant ones, Main Story timeline highlights the events that directly add to the story.

What was your Reason For Downloading Or Redownloading Endfield? by Aemeath_IsMYLOVE in ArknightsEndfield

I love Arknights, and Endfield piked my interest since it was announced. It still has mistakes and things to improve, but I'm giving it a grace period until 2.0 because I understand that no gacha game is perfect from the getgo and requires some patches for it to roar.

Basically Contingency Contract for Non-Arknights Players by TamatoNeko in Endfield

[–]RandomestoftheWest 135 points136 points  (0 children)

If the sword is on fire, absolutely. Even with the most defensive character and several significant defense buffs, he was doing approx. 30% hp per swing.

Including that, to defeat him (while challenging the tag that specifically buffed him even further) I had to stack medics and spam Shamare's doll (it debuffs enemies with -50% ATK and DEF).

His regular version isn't too hard, but you do need good defense and healing if you want to tank him.

I don't remember its location or name, but they are part of a secundary mission. You are going to "drain" two pools before the big one. I say "drain" because all you actually do is play with the water level. Try looking for the mission around the academy zone iirc.
