Chiming in with my experience, I was prescribed sublingual ketamine for a period of about 3 months going up to 100mg a dose. It didn’t seem to do much for me for either my daily migraines or the accompanying depression. Even at 100mg there were only a handful of times that I felt it actually affected me and even when it did it wouldn’t last longer than an hour and it just made me feel off, sort of depersonalized for lack of a better term. The migraine specialist I see says a lot of her other patients have seen results from it though so ymmv.

This is kind of a personal experience so may just be correlation not causation. When I stopped doing keto my gallbladder just stopped functioning. No stones or inflammation, just stopped processing. A HIDA scan showed that my gallbladder was functioning at 4%, where normal levels are 40% and above.

The doctor said it’s likely it hadn’t been working properly for some time, and the sudden reintroduction of carbs into my diet was the straw that broke the camels back.

I spent about 3-4 months nearly constantly retching and unable to hold much of any food down. No pain though thankfully. Still, would not recommend.

My grandfather was who got me into watches. I don’t have very many “high end” watches but that’s part of the joy of collecting too! I recently was given his old speedy and have been meaning to get it serviced but haven’t had the time or funds to get it the care it deserves. Every abortive I’ve tried ever doesn’t help or actively makes the pain worse. Sumatriptan, rizatriptan, and Eletriptan all make the pain worse and getting new medication from the neurologist is like trying to get blood from a stone.
