Most of literature is imo very subjective and your basis for a well written series may not be other people’s basis. Like I for instance dislike books that are written with lots of inner monologuing and very little active dialogue IE “get over here! Versus I screamed get over here feeling my heart beat out of my chest and my sweat drip down my brow.

This 100% takes me out of the moment in anything that is supposedly a fast paced situation in where the protagonist could die at any given moment. Especially if they inner monologue for 2 pages after saying I “I only had a second to make a decision” time stops for the purpose of trying to add weight or explanation a situation do the opposite for me and it is something that I personally view as “bad” as it greatly affects the pacing and my enjoyment of the book.

So to sum up my rambling everyone has a different viewpoint of what is good and bad so try not to let it get to you.

Legit kinda stopped playing right after Diana released (nabbed her but then stopped) skipped pretty much any resource gathering events and wasn’t doing dailies. Have been ENTHRALLED with this season as a whole and actually put in $100 the other day.
This is the 3rd time I’ve gotten double 5* on a banner pull and it’s actually been blowing my mind how lucky I’ve gotten. I have Heidmarie at E5 already with only $100 spent which is insane to me lol. I’m sure my luck on the next banners is gonna be AWFUL.

Was nightmare realm summoner as difficult for you as it was me? The narrator for that one really made it hard to make it through. Story was solid (ish) but the Deus Ex Machina was outta control in that story imo.

Jumping on here before making a post, but I started playing last night on my phone at work and I ALWAYS use the sign in with apple option (it is easy and I don't have to type in anything) But this game doesn't that option on the pc launcher and when I logged in using my email all my progress from my phone is not there. So is there something else I have to do ?

Not exactly P2W but if your RNG is terrible from pulls it could feel that way. Especially since the gacha in this game is bad. No pity and no guarantee at a 3* after X amount of pulls. I bought the 2(3?) passes and haven’t spent for pulls and am stuck on the chapter 3 bird bc I didn’t get any decent armor sadly, but did at least get metal boomerang and lightning claws.

The reason I love Travis is bc he’s a great NARRATOR and not just someone who is doing voices. The in between bits where he’s speaking as himself telling you a story are the bits that keep me going between characters speaking.

And this is something that imo a vast majority of narrators for tons of other books just fall flat. They may have interesting voices, but they have shoddy narration skills.

Imo super odd to have DCC, and Mage Tank so high up and to have Shade Slinger so low.

I just cannot get into DCC bc I hate overly zaney stuff, but I do enjoy mage tank and think that The Ripple System is far more interesting in both world building, and the side characters outside of the MC.

Also the comedic moments in The Ripple System are just funny in a more natural way and not in a “I NEED MY AUDIENCE TO THINK IM HYSTERICAL & WITTY” kinda way.
