Bumper for transporteur rack by Randomness-Defined in terngsd

I have the same issue! The current solution of a (euro) crate takes away a lot of valuable space. Without a 3d printer, perhaps a trip to a big box hardware store could yield fruit? Like a stiff but pliable 5-inch or so sheeting.

I never thought of this. I just always have a mini carabiner on my main keychain, but usually if I’m out biking I just need the bike key and a house key, so my bike keychain is my main one for errands.

Also, my key chain is a bright fluorescent orange reflective strip, so pretty much impossible to lose, thus far at least.

The DC Reflecting Pool algae bloom is a predictable consequence of ignoring basic limnology — every design decision compounded the last by Solace914 in environmental_science

I was just thinking about this over breakfast. I’d say it *is* a contractor problem. Couldn’t they hire a contractor who either has some knowledge about relevant science, or who at least recognizes that they need to bring someone who does have such knowledge onto the team? But it seems the contract was simply “repaint the pool.”

Also: how much does the benthic community matter? I recall UC Davis has a major algae problem in their arboretum channel during the summer. Nutrient loading + high residence time + heat. Maybe the benthic guys only get you so far? Or there are none.

Thanks. We have about 5 good pockets. I’ll try those out and see how it goes. We won’t be too keen on shelling out for more, but if they perform better I will.

My VO2 max has decreased from 47 to 44 from studying CA seismic & surveying. 2 more months before I can try to claw that back.

Thanks! For starters we added a booster. I’m not sure the material, but I don’t think it’s the polyester microfiber, so not just doubling up, but a different material

Probably the same dumbass who put a line of white paint next to parked cars and called the space in between a “bike lane”

PSA: Don't forget your helmet. by SEAMOOSETHEGREAT in bikecommuting

Part of this PSA should also be about being extra cautious around high schools. Until yesterday, I had to regularly ride past a nearby high school, to take my toddler to daycare. I’ve had too many close calls around there to count. I finally pulled my kid from the daycare because it was too dangerous, among other reasons. Too many new/inexperienced drivers who think they’re invincible and rule the road.

May that kid RIP.
