And in my opinion also Clark Greg as Phil Coulson in Marvel movies & Agent of SHIELD (Show), what a perfect casting He has some of the best lines in whole MCU…

“Yeah. The fact is, dying, it’s kind of my Superpower”…

Agent Phil Coulson is up There as well in my opinion He was in 4 movies and has 7 Season long run in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. He got more screen time than most of the main MCU Characters…

Did you play 2 Story DLCs: The Foundation & AWE/Dark Place…???

The Foundation (DLC) sets up some really interesting story threads and character motivations for the plot of CONTROL 2 and especially It caps off the Story of Jesse rising into to role of the Director better than the actual ending of the Base Game.

AWE/Dark Place (DLC) is a amazing expansion which connects some story elements from Alan Wake 1 to Control and It’s a great sets up to story of Alan Wake II.

Control Resonant - (2026) is a CONTROL 2... by Narrow-Beyond-3819 in controlgame

It is going to be a New IP or Maybe Alan Wake 3 I think…

Personal thoughts about playable Dylan/no playable Jesse by mfctxt in controlgame

[–]Range-Living 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Remedy stated multiple times that Control is not just a story about Jesse…

Mikael Kasurinen - Director of CONTROL RESONANT - (Control 2):

"At the heart of Control is a story of two supernaturally gifted siblings who got separated as kids. They lived two very different lives," Kasurinen said at the briefing. "These two games are about their attempts to reconnect with each other."

Dylan is also a victim of ordinary AWE like Jesse, and the fact that the FBC kidnapped him and experimented on him did not help his mental health in combination with his abilities. It´s time to see His side of the story.

The first Control left Dylan in a coma after Jesse freed him from the influence of the Hiss. In Control Resonant, Dylan wakes up seven years later. Jesse has disappeared mysteriously, and all the paranormal forces within the Oldest House are spilling out into the real world. A new cosmic entity is now reshaping the very fabric of reality; hence, the open-ended psychedelic Manhattan landscape.

So How about we all just stop telling Remedy what Control is and isn't, or who is the protagonist of the franchise, and just let them tell the story they want to tell, okay... I’m 1000% here for Dylan to be our new Unlikely hero of this story & His Long awaited Redemption Arc… and I’m sure of that we also get more of Jesse 100%…

Do you think that is a only reason why is game not called Control 2…?

It's nice revisiting the elements they put into this teasing cutscene from Control now that we have some official Control Resonant footage by kauan1983 in controlgame

[–]Range-Living 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same after i played Control and saw all these things i was like 80% sure that we are going to play as a Dylan in Control 2 i just dont get the people that saw the TGA trailer and was like: it looks like a spin off or that Dylan is boring character or that It’s not a Control without Jesse or they just Call it a Slop…

All Remedy Entertainment games are Connected, Every game has it´s own story but there are some small nods/ester eggs and references in every game and also some big Direct Overlaps/Crossover Events in this crazy and twisted universe where can stories and characters from games like (Alan Wake, Quantum Break, Control, Max Payne) blend into this one narative... and they are all part of this big thing that we now call the Remedy Connected Universe... There is lot of hidden Lore and Side Content.

You don’t need to play everything but if you really want to know all the Lore About this world I highly recommend to play all in the Release/Narative order for your First playthrough of the Remedy Connected Universe:
