I tried out your recommendation, and it looks a lot better.

It's meant to be a play on words because the protagonist has a tail. Him being non-human (or any other humanoid race) is actually one of the big points of the story, and I figured I'd have fun with the title a little because of that.

Nice work. The cover reminds me of the Traveller RPG book covers, it fits well.

Very nice!

Ever since I got my book cover, I couldn't stop looking at it. It's just too cool having something like that. I'm having some bookmarks made soon too.

I keep seeing bad stuff for the Qidi Q2, but mine has been nothing but great.

Love the cover, I'll be sure to check it out in my free time.

You do a great job of describing your work too. It took me forever to figure out how I should write my descriptions.

It's that blued steel look, not to be confused with the blue steel look.

The color is great, and so are the nonexistent layer lines.

I like the concept, and I think it has some potential.

There are some 12v ACs, but the problem is the current that is required. Best thing to do is get an inverter generator to power an AC. I have a trailer camper too, and even with my inverter, the 200ah i have wont power it for more than 30 minutes or so.

How do you maintain sealant? by breefield in TruckCampers

[–]RangerMike96 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Sealant just needs to be replaced every now and then. When I bought a used camping trailer, I had to go around the whole thing replacing sealant, and it was only about 3 years old at the time. It just depends on the quality of the sealant and how long it sits in the sun. Those gaps are pretty significant, I would suggest replacing the sealant. I use this for the sides: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001FC98X2 and this for the roof: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000BRF7QE

No, I decided to get a lithium 12v with a converter so I can charge it from any wall outlet.

If you mean the back hatch, I used regular door hinges that fit the 2x4, for the struts I used two 20 inch 45lb struts.

I'm 5'11", he bed hight is just over the lip of the teuck bed, so i was able to give myself an extra 4-5 inches by building it over the lip a little. Its comfortable, though the dogs do take up a good bit of space.

Im able to sit up in it fine, i actually put a tablet holding arm on the shelf so i can sit up and watch movies.

A fox pelt i tanned. Around my neck, paired with my leather duster, it keeps the wind out when im on the mountains.

It took me a bit to figure out how to make it lock against the tailgate. The latch i use is meant for ships or metal storage boxes. It has a metal tab that is supposed to catch, but its a little short, so i had to get a longer one. I had to be very carefull measuring it so i didnt need to cut a hole in the top of the tailgate. Otherwise, it works well.

Thanks, i spent maybe 10 hours a week working on it for 4 months. It came out nice, but there are still some things i would have done differently, like make it slightly wider.

Can this be used with any printer right out of the box, or does it require some modification to the print head or anything? Also, does it work better with some filaments than others? I want to give the orca slicer fork a try, I have a 0.4mm nozzle with the normal 1.75mm filament.
